Dungeon Lords and boy was that a mistake. I will never pre-order a game again nor will I ever buy anything developed by Dreamcatcher again.

I feel so ashamed. Can I pretend I never, because the answer would then be Portal 2.

Last game for me is the Last Story...is it even out yet in NA I remember they said August was the most recent push back? If it is I have a gripe with gamestop since it's been paid off since March.

Guild Wars 2!
And I blame everyone who answered my questions about it and got me super excited about it here on the forums. Much love.
Played in the stress-tests and had so much fun.

Sadly I have to play on boyfriend's computer because my laptop is made of scrap metal and hope, but we're saving up to get me a new machine and then we will probably never be seen again by the outside world.

Mortal Kombat 2011, and I only did it for the art book. The book which I was 90% sure would feature concept art that could be found in the krypt but I just couldn't take that chance. It turns out I was 100% right and the book was as big as a game manual (Okay a bit bigger) and didn't really have that much commentary in it.

And before that the last game I preordered was way back in September 2007, a couple hours before the game came out lol.

I pre-ordered The Last Story which Amazon hasn't delivered or shipped yet because I'm cheap. The next pre-order I'm likely to do will be for a Wii-U and 2 - 4 launch titles (Mario U, Rayman Legends and, Zombi-U for sure)

Edit - YAY! 7,000 posts!!!

WoW:Mists of Panderia.

Mainly just because pre-ordering it's pretty much the only way I can get the Collectors Edition.

For me it was Mass Effect 3, and don't get me started on Mass Effect 3 again...
Anyway I decided back around the time Dragon Age 2 came out (The second to last game I preordered) that ME 3 would be my last preorder, because I have an ancient evil curse that makes everything I pay full price for suck donkey shit, that's why for everyone's sake I'm going to wait for the price drop on Sleeping Dogs.

I've only ever pre-ordered four games.

Little Big Planet
Lego Batman
Little Big Planet 2
Rage

The first three instances were only so that I didn't feel the pain of laying down $60 in one go. Rage was an "impulse" pre-order in that I was excited by the E3 clips and hopeful about similarities to the openness of Fallout 3.

Given how my playing is predicated on whim--just now got around to playing the Assassin Creed games and even stopped that playthrough to finish Oblivion--pre-orders just aren't necessary. Besides, I wasn't all that impressed with Rage--haven't moved past the sniper mission. I was hoping the game would be more like Fallout than Borderlands.

Preorders are too risky. I had actually put $5 down for the new Lara Croft but got cold feet and closed the order. I like to wait on reviews and guilt is forcing me to finish the pile of games I already own.

The first, last and only game I ever preordered was Skyrim. I don't regret doing that; however, I still take enormous amounts of heed before preordering. I want to be very sure I won't be disappointed.

I pre-ordered Modern Warfare 2 for the PC and then paid absolutely no attention to it until release, missing all of the no mods, no private servers, game not balanced for lean, literally designed for console and ported to pc announcements.
I haven't purchased a game since that I didn't rent beforehand or get for a song on steam.

It isn't often that I reserve a title but Hitman Absolution has looked so damn good in the previews and teasers that I couldn't resist. I even bought the professional pack because delicious art makes me happy.

I'm still on the fence about Bioshock Infinite.

The only good thing about that games was... Well... Um... This may be harder than i thought. Atleast Black Ops had the Zork minigame.

OT: I think it was Halo Reach (no idea why). Actually other than that and 1 or 2 others, i dont think i have pre-ordered any games. I generally dont really pre-order games unless there is something cool that comes with it.
