The Mysterious Stranger by Mark Twain. Anyone else here ever read it? It's a great book and the ending is really powerful.

I tore through the "Legacy of the Force" series in about four weeks because I wanted to re-read it because I am training a Sith Apprentice on another forum, but I was in the middle, approximately, of War and Peace. I like it, it just is kind of dry for reading a lot in one sitting...

Reading "The Long Walk" by Stephen King, very interesting so far.

Also, I recently read "The Painted Man" a Really cool and interresting story in that one whit great characters.

The Long Walk is my fav book by the King...gets kinda heart wrenching at the end...and what i love is that there isn't even anything supernatural about it...excellent choice...i need to read it again...

"Gauntlgrym" by R.A. Salvatore. I'm a huge fan of the Legend of Drizzt series, and Salvatore continues to find new ways to develop Drizzts' character even after 20+ books. (Possible spoilers ahead). What I think I enjoy the most about the book is how it goes into depth exploring the fact that elves outlive other races, and how they deal with losing all of their old, shorter-lived companions such as humans, hobbits, and dwarves.
Heh, can you guess what books I like?
Haha, nice to meet you Drizzit! Any chance you can introduce me to Lady Aulustriel? I hear she's pretty smokin' :p

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.

Before that it was Life of Pi.

Both ISU novels for school, which sucks because I have to analyze the crap out of them, but I never would have read them otherwise, so that's a plus.

Do DnD books count? Not the novels...the ones with added stuff. Cause then the book of the planes. (I plan on doing soem plane travelling soon)
If not...then I think Deadeye Dick by Kurt Vonnegut.

Last book I read was the Crippled God by Steven Erikson. I actually read the entire series this winter, finishing all the previous books just in time to get the newest. Most difficult read i have ever had, but one of the most fantastic.
