Donkeykong 64 and megaman legends, cant remember the ages.

Though someone needs to make a support group for the legends thing. I had to break the disc to get over it.
Those 2 games arent 18+. And trust me you could have made huge cash by selling a copy of megaman legends if you still had it now.

Well, technically my first M game was Doom and Hexxen when I was 3. First one I bought was Red Faction for PS2 when I was 8, violence for the young ones!

Mortal Kombat doesn't count for me, because although I got it when I was 13 it was only rated 15. Similarly, the Doom games were only rated 15 in the UK, so they don't count either.

To be honest, I don't think many games were rated 18 in the UK during the 90's. The first 18 rated game I can remember getting was Carmageddon, which controversially courted a 18 rating from the BBFC, although I was 17 when it was released and I may have actually been 18 when I bought it.

However, if I were to count a game that would have received an M or 18 rating in America if such rating were in place at the time, then it would have probably been one of the more risque game on my ZX Spectrum, one of the games actually aimed at adults with slightly blue humour and sex references, like How To Be A Complete Bastard or Rockstar Ate My Hamster.

Violence wise, the Spectrum ports of Robocop, Renegade or Target: Renegade possibly would have received an 18 rating, since the were pretty visceral despite their lack of sophisticated graphics.

Some bastard gave me Hexen for my second birthday. I mean, I didn't actually play it until I was 4, but I saw it being played. After that I had nightmares until I was 6... good times!

Well, maybe the first I laid eyes on was the original Doom, the one I remember most vividly was Silent Hill 1, when I was maybe 8. Both of these would also count in the other thread about, "games that scared you as a kid". I was more scared of Doom though... didn't like the tiny screen and first-person perspective combo.

The First one I earned through persuasion was Fable: The Lost Chapters: 13 years old. The first in the family was Wing Commander IV: 4 years old. First one My brother and therefore I got and played a lot was MGS 2: 13 years old.

The original escape from butcher bay. Disgustingly violent and full of potty language. Awesome game.

Jeebus maybe... Doom waaaaaayyyy back in the early 90's, the first one I really remember was probably the first Fallout game, that's the first game where I remember going "WHOOOOAAAAA" over the violence.

Oops, forgot Mortal Kombat, so it was probably Mortal Kombat.

If by 18+, you mean M (17+) by America's ESRB, it was Diablo, a few years after it cam out I think. I was 7 when I bought it for my dad on Father's day, and he let me play it, since it wasn't really that bad. There was pixellated gore, some swearing, lots of violence. Good times with that game.

18+? Well, this is the US so 18+ is AO, and that would be Manhunt 2.
As for M (17+) ratings, it was probably Duke Nukem 64, but I only rented that back then...

Game: TES Oblivion

Violence: Not enough! :p

I really don't get why that game's not rated T.
It originally was but there was a popular mod released that made woman topless so they changed the rating to M even though you can't access the mod on Ps3 or 360

OT perfect dark when I was 11. still one of my favorite games

Marathon Infinity. I was only 4, maybe 5, when I first saw my dad playing it on his mac. I was already an avid SNES player then, having played Link to the Past and Megaman X till my eyes bled. I was aware that my dad had been playing a game on his computer and practically demanded that he let me see it. He did, and I was super freaked out by it. T_T (Though now it's one of my favorite games, so I suppose I owe him a favor for the mild trauma.)

Manhunt at age 12. Quite graphic; I'm surprised it didn't really scar me too much.
