Gameboy like a boss. I can't remember my first game, though it might have been Legend of Zelda or Pokemon.

I've never owned a console, the closest would be the old Commodore 64 (hey it took cartridges) and when my dad bought it came with Five a Side Soccer, so that would be the first game.

Hm... The first ever console that was MINE was the NES, I got it for my birthday circa 1990-1991. I just can't remember if it was for my 6th or 7th. Something like that. I was happy.
Before then we did have a Commodore 64 though and I vividly remember playing Commando64 until my fingers went numb. As well as some fighting-game I don't really remember the name of. Ninja... something. Screw it, I liked it. I remember that much.
Also it had Bubble Bobble which got quite abit of playtime too.
But I'm counting the NES for this, since that was the first console that was mine so to speak and not just a family computer I hogged whenever I got the chance.

SNES with Super Mario World when I was five. Though I would also always play my grandma's NES whenever I was at her house (and I loved Duck Hunt).

Spectrum ZX-81 From when I was like.. 1 or 2, can't remember exactly, but my uncle apparently bought it for me. Then I got the old Game Boy in 1990 for my 5th birthday. Also had access to PC games all my life

At around 9 I got an original Gameboy with a transparent case and a game simply called 'Star Wars'. It was the most ridiculously fiddly, impossibly difficult game I've ever played. Non-the-less, in a particularly lengthy period of procrastination from Dissertation work, I managed to find a version of it online:

Stupid bastard buggery of a game, but still, good memories. Makes you wonder where we'll be in another 10-15 years.

Dunno what the name was but it looked like a computer. It had 3 games - pacman (with a green background, but not the Atari-version) - hangman (I learned to write my first word with that) and one game that I cannot remember at all, I just remember that there where 3 games.
Then I didn't have any gamesystem for years until me and my brother spend all out allowence on a Playstation.

NES and Super Mario Bros. That was a simpler time, when it wasn't about graphics and Activision killing franchises.

A more recent one... The Commodore Amiga I believe, was about 3-4 at the time. I think my first game was Duck Tales or Wacky Racers but I can't quite remember. Some years back that was. Though I'd say that I'm relatively young to the gamer world.

Technically it was the NES and probably Wizards and Warriors 3, but I don't really have memory of it, so I'll go with the N64 and Banjo Kazooie.

Well, if you count PC games, I had an old Might and Magic game, the exact name of which escapes me since I was about 3, and Doom of course.

For consoles, I had both an NES and SNES, I don't remember which one I had first, but I do remember that I had both at the same time. Games I had for them included the Super Mario/Duck Hunt game, Super Metroid, Alien 3 (I think), Mortal Kombat 3, Killer Instinct, Donkey Kong, and quite a few others, oh yeah, and Kirby.

I moved on to the N64 later, when I saved the cash for it. I was about 9/10 when I got that and my first game for it was Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. Of course, I got Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time as well.

When I traded that in, I bought a PS and had a few games for that, Judge Dredd, a few FF games that I never got into, and others.

Gave the PS to a friend for his birthday along with some games after I bought the PS2, got Primal as my first game for that I think.

Saved more money and got an Xbox, had Halo for that.

Have a 360 now, Also Halo for that, but that wasn't my first game for it, I can't recall what it was.

I have a PS3 now as well, and if I recall correctly, I had Bioshock 2 for that.

I traded in my Xbox and PS2 when I got the PS3. I just have a 360 and PS3 now.

Sega Megadrive, a gift from a late grandparent at an age that I can't remember. First game (by memory) was Sonic the Hedgehog.

Those were the days...
