I am 26, my first system was the Sega Genesis. (The little one, with fewer buttons.)

My first game was Sonic The Hedgehog 2, and it is because of this that I enjoy being able to run really fast in video games.

Played on my PC for a looong time before I actually had the privilege of owning a PS2. Yeah, got to it a little late.

18, it was either an old DOS PC that my grandpa owned for work, a SNES or a Sega Megadrive (Genesis in some places). I was apparently 2 when I started playing.

I can't recall much about the old PC but my first Megadrive game woulda been Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and my first SNES game was one of the SMB games, either All Stars or World.

And perhaps the fact I was playing Battletoads in Battlemaniacs at the age of 2-5 is one reason I love a challenge in my games... passing that damn bike level for the first time felt a lifetime achievement xD

I'm 19 and I thought the PS1 was my first system. Recently however, my dad told me that he got me to play Duck Hunt on the NES. Which was on a cartridge that also had Super Mario Bros.

I still like to think that the PS1 was the system that got me into gaming though.

I'll be 15 in 3 days, and the SNES is the oldest console in my house. But back then I only watched my brother(18) play Super Mario All-Stars & World along with Final Fight 2. I didn't really start actually playing videogames until my dad got a PS2, although I sometimes go back to Street Fighter 2 Turbo when I feel like retro gaming.

I'm 22, and...
If family consoles count, then the NES would be it. Otherwise, it would have to be a Gameboy Color.

I also got 1 continue on any game on it before bed when I was 5-ish. Needless to say, I used to be a beast at some really challenging games. (Contra, Life Force, Ghosts & Goblins) in around 2 lives per run through.
