I got this bad boy in 7th grade.

I remember kids were considered spoiled having a cell phone before high school, and the hot phone at the time was the Razer. I felt so cool buying all those chiptune ringtones of songs and listening to them on the bus on the way home from school. My parents got mad at me, but it was worth it back then.

Looking back now that we have kids in elementary school with iPhones... It makes me feel kind of old.

When I turned 14 I think...high school age (2002), I got my first Cell Phone! It was a LG C2000 and my service provider was Cingular. I don't think they're around anymore.

Now I'm coming with a new one

Yeah, Siemens M35. It wasn't very good, but it was kinda practical to have a phone.
Same for me. I was going to post it but I couldn't remember who made it or what it was called. That thing was indestructible though.

this bad boy was a fucking brick, the samsung A650, shit ran hot as oil lit on fire when you texted alot, but god damn if it could be destroyed, it went through the missourri river, ran over 3 times, tossed out a 2 story window, and the battery still lasted me for 3.5 years before starting to poop out (and i charge my phone every night)

good memories...texted like a champ on it.
YES. This phone was my first, way back in freshman year of high school (late 2005-ish). It stayed with me for quite some time, until a friend of mine stuck a rake in the front spoke of my bike and I flipped onto it, cracking the screen.

No camera, only one screen, no full keypad, and couldn't even vibrate and ring at the same time (it would vibrate for a second and then ring for a second or two, and repeat).

Don't remember, had it for like 2 weeks before I realized being in constant contact with anyone and everyone totally depletes the (already strained bounds of) fun in social interaction.

My first was the Nokia 3510i

Then I got a Motorola V3 RAZR which I then replaced with an HTC Magic.

Now I'm the happy owner of an iPhone 4S.

I think I used to have a 3210, then a 3310. I know my dad had the one before the 3210 and when it stopped working, he gave it to me as a toy sort of phone. I do remember using a 3310 though.

First phone as in the one I bought myself is the one I have now, an Xperia S.

Christ I remember the first colour phone, and the first camera phone...

First phone was a Nokia 3200 back in 2005

Had to pay for it myself when I was 13. I have had three phones since then and only the 3200 and my current one still work.

The Nokia 7373 in around 2006

It's still the only phone I have ever had and it's still going strong, I just wish I had got it in chocolate or gold, this pink clashes with all my clothes :L

So many young people, getting a mobile phone with colour display!

Pff, back in my days my family shared a Motorola mr1. Makes me feel like I'm dying of old age, and becoming increasingly bitter.

I think we should rename the thread title to "What cell phone makes you feel old?".

Now that was the real phone of its day. Interchangeable shells and indestructible! Who says phones got better?!
Damn right! And you're right about it being indestructible. I still have mine, and guess what: it still works!! :D That was one awesome cell phone.

The almighty Nokia 3200. With the ability to cut out any pattern and replace the skin

After that....a Motorola C261, a Samsung S5560 and now a shiny HTC Desire.

Amazing how far the tech has come in just 10 years, and that's with my not having even seen the first mobile phones....incredible.

While I was not really into phones when everyone started to buy one, that phone appeal to me (the colour and the round shape).

Despite it was outdate when those better screen revolution and polyphonic came in, it had serve me well unlike the replacement Siemen C65. That phone was easy to unlike which cause several accidental calls! (You hold down the # key to unlock and I had it in my jean pocket which were kind of tight per say.)

It was a really old phone. Let's see if I can find it. I've still got it somewhere.

Yep, knew I had it. Motorola T720. Had a badass feature where you could make your own ringtones. Like, compose them.

EDIT: Oh, and it still works. As a laugh, as I'm upgrading today to a Samsung Galaxy Nexus, when the SIM card of my current phone is out, I'll see if it works with the old phone.
