Purchased and didn't return to Gamestop within a week? Hmmm that's a fine question. I guess if my phone is to be believed ( and it's rarely ever if at all that it lies to me) then the last game I purchased was Caligo Chaser for my Xperia Play. It cost me just under three dollars.

Space Pirates And Zombies. Its a fun game to pick up, play a bit, and put down after a few ship battles. My previous big game purchase was the Witcher 2 which i still haven't completed..... damn you SC2 and LoL.
I was almost certain I'd be the only one to have Space Pirates and Zombies as my most recent purchase. Great game with a committed two man development team, so I think it was worth it =D

Fallout 1,2 and tactics. I was interested in the ones that came before F3/F:NV and I say it was money well spent! That was last July, have not seen a lot of things I wanted to BUY since then but there are things I do want to play (I have a limited budget) like Deus Ex: Human Revolution and BF3 when it comes out.

Borderlands: GotY Edition (For eight dollars! :D)

I like it so far. Gameplay's really fun and collecting better guns/grenades/shields/class upgrades is more enjoyable than I imagined, also the co-op is tons of fun (With no noticeable lag, I might add) and I like it's unique look.

Just wish the narrative was a little stronger, that's the only place that I feel it is lacking. and the vehicular combat could be better.

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army (golly that's a mouthful), for $90 off of Ebay. Don't regret it a single bit :)

Mafia 2, but I stick with games I buy and have a backlog going all the way into my Sega CD, so unless it's a really big deal I'm generally cool with waiting till it's on the cheap.

uhh hold on a sec, struggling to remember...

honestly can't figure which exactly. I've actually had a month of Gamefly so been trying that out (delivery is way too slow). but probably some silly but cheap whatever game just to pass the time (cough movie game??)

I will be preordering Gears 3 however

Almost Deus Ex: Human Revolution but seeing as I beat that one and needed something new to play that particular honor goes to inFamous 2. But then I beat that and I want to go back and play through them both again with the opposite karma, but am not quite ready for that yet. Well then here I come Bastion I hear you're rather enjoyable.

Dungeons of Dredmor, on steam.

Ye gods, this game is hard. Or I just suck. Probably both.

That aside, it's hilarious.
It's hard, welcome to the entire roguelike subgenre. Dredmor is possibly one of the easiest ones out there.

As for me, Limbo, or Magicka if you count gifts. Limbo was... disappointing.

I preordered Skyrim most recently but that was more a convenience thing (had the cash now and the preorder price was $43 AUD with the cloth map and free delivery as opposed to the crazy $90 USD digital version price on steam...) I'm pretty sure it will activate through steam anyway (like new vegas) so I will still have the convenience of it being on my steam account but at 1/2 the cost and with a bonus map. The only drawside is that I might not get my code in the post until a week after it comes out but if anything that will allow for any launch bugs to sort themselves out.

More recently I purchased Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Luckily that was also a steamworks game so I was able to get it for $34 USD instead of the $70 USD price for Australians on steam...

It is fortunate that it is so easy to buy from UK based stores to avoid the price gouging. $80+ saved on just two games. For any curious Aussies or New Zealanders the two shops I used were ozgameshop.com for Skyrim and greenmangaming.com for Deus Ex.
