I dunno, the questions were open for massive interpretation. if you ever read the book you'd know that the only reason for the damned to be in hell in the first place was because their drive and lust for themselves overshadowed their need for god or good deeds. [ex. keeping money and hoarding in the book meant you cared more for money than for anything else]
