I loved it, a lot, a LOT. I used to spend hours just hopping and hovering around Delfino Plaza listening to that fantastic soundtrack. I loved the colourful island, it's my favourite Mario game ever. And I do like the other Mario games, but this one was just so delightfully colourful and refreshing (something you don't often get in a Mario game), it still makes me smile.

Also, SMS has the best incarnation of the Mario tune EVER:
I loved those special stages, so so so much.
That tune is rather epic

Even though it wasn't as good as its predecessor Super Mario 64 or its successor Super Mario Galaxy, I really enjoyed this game. The stages were pretty fun and the tasks were varied. Some of the later special stages (where you lose FLUDD) were extremely frustating though.

I enjoyed it.
It was a lot of fun, granted there were TONS of things that were to over used but, its just a fun game.
(some of my favorite memories were me trying to help my mom learn how to wall kick...she could never get :)

I'll just jump on the "omigosh, I luurve me some Mario Sunshine" bandwagon. (Who knew there was one?) Mainly because the abdominal-powered walrus transportation technique, i.e. mashing the B-button, is quite possibly the most glorious form of locomotion ever devised anywhere. A timeless classic if anything is. The FLUDD was mainly good for speeding the aforementioned up.

Nah, actually I'm one of the weird obsessive-compulsives who quite liked cleaning up every bit of goo from a level, which I mainly accomplished by spinning wildly and spamming the "right trigger + A" splash of water. It's like an automatic shotgun attached to a high-power drill, only it cleans stuff all around instead of killing it. Good times, rarely has cleaning been as exhilarating.

Really could have done with more of those no-FLUDD areas though, those were easily the most awesome thing about it. Right after the walrus-like hopping anyway.

I too liked it a lot. Colourful, well designed levels and I liked puking all over people from the back of a Yoshi (fruit juice my ass, that thing was projectile vomiting)

I thought it was better than Mario 64 as well, though my only experience with that came from the DS version I got my hands on a few years ago.
