what will the first mod in skyrim be?

Since we're talking about the very first one, I'm guessing it'll be something simple. Maybe a keyring item or an "access character customization screen" thing or something. No matter how much they rush on a nude mod (and they will) simpler mods will probably come before it.

Well I had to edit some file to trick Fallout 3 into thinking I had a dual core.

Well, the first useless mod will be some sort of nipple mod or trouser snake mod.

If the new engine is anything like Gamebryo, the first useful mod will most likely be a PolyGone mod, 'cause you don't need eighteen billion polygons for a random boulder. Wither that or optimizing the LOD, meshes, etc.

Yes, but who gets them? I'm wagering some sad fuck is gonna put 'em on the dragons, AND ONLY ON THE DRAGONS!

In all seriousness, the console mode will probably be unlocked before mods show up, so there goes Infinite Money, Giving oneself XP, Unlocking various weapons/armor/items, and God Mode.

Only real thing left is nude/sexy armor patches.

I'd put my money on nude skins. After that? Replicas of various weapons used by main characters of other games. I remember it was pretty popular to re-skin sorts to look like the buster sword in Oblivion.
