I also think this question is interesting. Not just on online persona but for friends and political/moral beliefs, when do you draw the line in friendship? When they advocate anti-privacy laws? When they deny the Holocaust? Or when they are revealed to have racist feelings?IllumInaTIma said:but there was one idea that made me wonder. What would it take to make me stop watching, say, Zero Punctuation or Jimquisition? Is there something that Yahtzee could say on Twitter or some act that Jim could commit, within legal boundaries, that would make me say "Hmm... I'm not sure I want to watch this guy anymore". So the question is, well, IS THERE, at least for you?
Returning to the original topic. On entertainment....,
I actually stopped watching Movie Bob after he insulted, on twitter everyone who was condemning the Mass Effect 3 ending (more specifically, it was likely directed those who wanted the ending changed). He called them "crybabies" and claimed they "set back gaming as an artform."
I had already disagreed with a few of his views/perception on movies and videogames. But to come out and insult people on an issue he was unfamiliar with (he had not played the series, at least at the time, IIRC), just shows ignorance to em.
