To echo a bunch of other people in this thread: I would be pretty much the same. I would be probably even more unpopular than I am now since I don't really care about my appearance that much (though to be honest, I actually used to be relatively popular in high-school, but then the socialization enforced by the classroom went away) and dealing with menstruation once a month would be a pain (no pun intended), but otherwise... yeah, cannot really think of anything that would really change about me.

As for sexuality... I think I would stay as a yuri-fanboy/girl. I am pretty asexual in real life, but as far as fiction is concerned I am a staunch believer in the notion of "four boobs are better than two". :p

I'd be a fat woman with a beard and a mustache that is extremely sarcastic and doesn't take anything seriously. Basically I would like this but with with darker brown hair, minus the dress and hat.

I would likely be completely obsessed with sex and masturbation. I dont understand why women do anything else with orgasms like that. How does watching game of thrones and shopping compare?!

I think that aside from trading in my white cotton briefs for white cotton panties and a sensible bra, I really wouldn't be much different; female me could probably pull off the "black jeans and dark graphic tee" look well enough. Even sex would mostly follow the same pattern, since I'm already fairly reserved and not terribly interested in a "roll in the hay" with someone I don't know.

Fat. Shameful. Unattractive both in spirit and appearance. Directionless in life. Perpetually depressed. No sense of self or ability to express emotions or ideas.

In other words, exactly the same, except...

+Vagina, -Penis.[footnote]Would you fuck me? I'd fuck me.[/footnote]

I actually really like walking through make-up departments and trying stuff on without actually buying anything and talking about dreamy boyz, though, so the female gender is sort of calling me.

captcha: corned beef. Oh, captcha!

But if I suddenly turned into a female, I don't think periods would be too much of a problem because I'd be more used to having testosterone coursing through my body because I've had that all my life... but if I was theoretically born female, I wouldn't cope. At all.

More or less the same, personality-wise... only with more thoughts revolving around vaginas for some reason...

Other than that, I probably would have already dated someone... Hopefully, it's my best friend because I consider him cool like that...

Plus, why does she look so much better in a dress than I ever could? *pouts*

Oh.

Misread the OP. I thought this was about who we would like to see genderbent, not what we would be like if we were genderbent.

...

Never mind.

=throws out list=
I totally want to see that list now.

On topic. Well I bike almost every day so at least I would have a nice ass. Other than that I don't know.

As yet another genderqueer person, I'd say I'm essentially already there. But if I had a vagina I'd probably have trouble wanting to keep my self so consistently clean.

I can't even imagine how I'd be if my gender identity pushed me into Female to Male territory, instead of Male to Female territory though.

I've always figured that you'd end up being the kind of person you're most attracted to. Like, I Have a thing for girls with long hair and wear dresses. So I'd imagine if I was a girl I'd have long hair and like dresses

I would have a vagina that would secrete blood and tissue anywhere from 3 to 5 days a month for the next 30 years or so.

I'd more than likely try to fulfill my slight obsession with women's fashion.
I find the adorable, elegant, and flashy clothing of women much more appealing than men's clothing. It's difficult for me to buy clothes for myself because I'm just not interested in what men are offered, but being male I'm pretty much stuck with it unless I want to crossdress, and I don't really have the physique to pull that off as a man.

I was doing this kind of stuff before it was cool.

I figured this topic came up before. Actually I'm pretty sure I looked at your thread before. The idea behind this struck me recently as interesting since with hormone changes and the like. As I said in my original post, as a guy I like to put people on edge (I'm pretty good at that with my female friends especially), so if I were a girl, that would open up a whole new playing field...

I suppose the problem with that though would be getting raped, but I'm confident enough in my current ability to fight off a couple attackers. Assuming I keep what I know about pressure points I'd probably be fine.

I think I'd grow a beard and if my father is anything to go by, my genes will be perfect for it and it will be awesome. On the other hand, if I did get my man-hair from my dad's side of the family I'd probably be bald by now. Shit. I like having long hair and if I could get away with it as a guy, I would.

I'm far from tall right now, but the guys in my family tend to be rather tall, so if I were born a man, there'd be a very good chance I'd be able to get stuff from the cupboard without something to stand on or climbing on the counter. But if we're talking typical genderswap, I'd probably still be short *sigh*

As for build, I'm no heavy weight by any means and would probably be rather scrawny as a man. I would exercise more than I do now, though. Because seriously, having big boobs is a great way of making exercise suck. No bouncing = more fun exercising!

Clothes wouldn't be too tricky. I'd love wearing long sleeves and fun t-shirts anytime I don't need to look professional (I'd love to wear a good suit, though!). Probably rather geeky, but hey, a different gender isn't going to change that. Oh, but I think I would miss/love to try on skirts, though. Do you have any idea how comfortable those things can be? They're seriously one of the best things about being female.

I imagine I'd be pretty much the same? Like @VanQ said, I'd be a lot more popular with the opposite gender though, given my hobbies. Probably be a B-C cup. >.> 'cause justice and plot are just a bit too extreme. So, yay, like I am now, decently attractive gamer/anime loving female?

...Hm.

I would have to start a tumblr.

Then make with the selfies of bits. Why!? Because I'd actually have something people would want to see!

Sincerely, quite jealous of ladies on that point. Nobody wants to see dood bits. I mean, in pic sharing competitions with sexy-time interests, I kind of run out of stuff quick.

It's either shirtless or dick. Not a lot of room in between.

Femaleness would open a lot of doors. And legs. Mostly legs.

Interestingly enough I was good friends with a woman who was pretty much the female version of me. We had pretty much the exact same eye, hair and skin color. We had the same nerdy habits (anime, video games, internet stuff)

So I can easily see what I would be like as a woman. Throw in my personality, looks, diet/fitness level and I'd be pretty popular with guys. 33 year old me has only had one GF (got and lost her at 31) and hardly slept around, and I'm betting that female me would be married with at least one kid by now. I would never have any problems with attracting any guy I wanted.

That girl who was the female version of me, she turned me down. She thought I was too short for her, I'm 5'5.

I always felt that would have been better if I had been born a woman.

(I identify 100% as male, just not a successful one since I'm short, quiet and girls have never liked me)

I already look pretty androgynous so I don't see there being much of a change...the lump on my throat would go away, the lump in my pants would go away and, the lumps on my chest would expand in what I can only assume would be a pretty significant way. I don't know if I'd be rocking D's but I'd be close. I would probably look pretty damn good...I'd definitely cosplay as Harley Quinn a bunch.

I've been told I'm "feminine" by a few people... including my wife (who once quipped that she should have been the husband and I should have been the wife.) Added to that, people on forums and on IRC have told me I type "like a girl." Whatever the hell that's supposed to mean.

Anyways, I'm not traditionally mannish. I don't have a strong affinity for tools or mechanical things, not a huge fan of professional sports, etc. And as far as how I conduct myself, I don't like arguments, I don't care who's right I just want to get to the part where the fight's over. I'm a notorious compromiser.

And I hear (ad nauseum) that I'm not a "typical" guy. Which sucks because typical guys usually have things WAY easier than atypical guys. Much less than it did in high school though. And apparently that also gives me +50 immunity to the urge to do douchey things. So yay?

So as far as mannerisms, I guess I probably wouldn't be too different, I don't think. Either that or I'd swing the other way and be a woman with traditionally masculine characteristics. Which would be really cool, since I'd be able to fix cars and stuff. Hmmm...

My physiology would be different of course. No beard, which would mean no shaving of the face. Shaving the legs would probably suck though. I mean yeah, legs are easier to shave (because they're not by YOUR EYES) but, society has expectation to shave and keep them groomed much more than men have to keep facial hair groomed. We guys can get away with letting ourselves get stubbly without being labeled as circus freaks because of hair growing in a COMPLETELY NATURAL PLACE FOR HAIR TO GROW.

*ahem*

Also, there's the biology. Boy howdy, is there ever biology. I'm no expert, but women have, like TWICE as much biology going on as we do. Cramps, bleeding... it doesn't sound terribly fun, and my hat's off to the ladies who deal with it with grace and aplomb every month. (By grace and aplomb I mean "not strangling people.")

The social stuff would be the hardest to cope with. Even as a guy who's "girly" I get a free pass on a lot of stuff. Stuff I never used to think about. I mean, yes it sucks to always be the one who's "wrong" by default in an argument, but at the same time, it'd be worse to have to deal with gender expectations of how to look, how you're supposed to behave. And that's just the tip of the sociological iceburg.

And god damn it all, the way they make women's clothing makes no sense. Whatsoever. The fabric is so thin, and you're supposed to layer things. And the necklines are low-cut on almost EVERYTHING. Like almost everything that isn't a Burqa shows skin. Which I assume is just because the people who design women's clothing get some sort of sick satisfaction whenever someone on youtube has a conniption fit over a woman showing cleavage. [Yes, yes, work up that frothing outrage over the same exact thing you see if you ever run the dire risk known as "going out in public and participating in society to any degree whatsoever."]

So I don't know. It'd be fun, and I'm pretty sure I'd probably be a lesbian in such a situation, but I'm not sure if I'd have to deal with all the B.S unless I could find a way to avoid it. Like wearing a burqa and resigning myself to being celibate.

I doubt being the opposite sex would change my personality at all. Maybe I wouldn't like pink and all that glitters, but I'd still be me essentially. I'd probably be a more talkative a not as smart version of my husband.

Since my mother is an ex-model and I look like a gender bent version of her it's fair to say I'd be a really attractive woman, I'd probably be the exact same though, probably even wear the same clothes except fitted for a woman, don't think I would do dresses or skirts since I don't like showing skin mostly due to scars, so basically I'd look like a really badass latino lady that wears a trenchcoat and a red scarf.
