'USS Kimberlite' for a science vessel (I made the name up for a fan fic I wrote. Kimberlite is the rock that diamonds come from).

or, 'USS Starscape' for a deep space vessel (like Voyager). 'Starscape' is the name of a ship I created for a novel I'm writing.

If I was to pay Star Trek online I'd go for 'USS Kimberlite'.

USS Revenant if it's a smaller ship. For a dreadnought or battleship I would probably go with USS Minotaur.

If I didn't have to add USS on to the beginning I would probably call it the Floating Leaf. This is an extremely obscure reference and anyone who gets it can be my friend. There is not greater prize.
