There can be no better answer, or pic. Congrats.

God damnit I want a suit like that. Screw my petty dreams, I NEED THE SUIT!

You know, the problem with that comic is that society would pretty much fall apart and die if everyone followed its advice. How many people go "I want to be a janitor?" Maybe some, but not nearly enough to support all the places that need janitors. As for the question, I'd probably just sit around all day waiting for death. Jeez, now I'm depressed.

I would go to school. Not school school, but like trade schools. Like ASE certification on domestic/import engines, then paramedic, then rotary wing certification. Small plane pilot's license, first single, then multi-engine. H&K weapons classes, offensive driving courses, then pay the 5 grand to attend SCARS.

Guess I should chime in with my "I have all the moneys" dream, too.

Huge parcel of land, probably insouthern ALbera. Most of it would be left alone to stay undeveloped. Then I'd build a small house, maybe 5 bedrooms, 3-4 baths (I'm not talking more than about 2000 square feet) with windows everywhere and just a view of the nothingness outside. Of course there would be massive tvs and computers and such. And the house would all be surrounded by a high stone wall, too. For safety. From zombies. And so my cats wouldn't escape or get eaten. By zombies.

It would also have a huge garden, so I could spend the summer growing my own food. There would be rain barrels and solar panels and all the spiffy stuff so I could live as off-grid as possible... with high-speed internet. Because I'd be playing games when I wasn't gardening. (Also, the windows would be two stories tall, so the second story would just be a walkway filled with plants in the winter, so I could still grow my own food in January. (Can be done, I had some tomato plants live through February last year, then they got those little white bugs on 'em and I had to toss them. They were still producing, though.)

Possibly horses, too, and then we'd invite people who can't afford horseback riding to come as classes or groups or families just to experience it and have a fun day. Possibly have a bunkhouse so students or others could come work the horses and the gardens to earn room and board and experience.

... My realistic dream? A small house in southern Alberta with lots of windows and an amazing view of fields and hills and forest. And a big garden. And enough room for friends and family to come visit. And just not to have to work. Or to find some job where I can work from home for maybe 4-6 hours a day.

Mmmm unlimited financial freedom. If only ;). Maybe found a school that trains people similarly to how Mentats were in Dune. Only across the complete scale of Humanity. Train people to realize their full mental, cultural, and physical potential and make them sterling candidates for any function they desire to fulfill. Also how to file tax forms and other assorted paperwork. Nobody ever seems to teach you how to be an adult, you're just kind of expected to figure it out unless you specifically mention something. Hence the high drop out rates, high divorce rates and rampant depression. So maybe throw in some tips for being responsible.

1. Acquire 50 wild boars.

2. Hire a few dozen psychos to let them loose in Washington D.C and wreak havok.

3. Enjoy the chaos.

In an ideal world, I would love to be a game writer/creative director.

However, it isn't an ideal world, and I know that I would get tired of that job pretty quick as I have no idea as to what it entails (also I heard that there are problems with the working hours of game devs).

Other than that, I really don't know, being a gamer for the longest time, I cannot say that I would ever dream of a future in which I could transfer my ideas to a non-interactive medium, I hate that I have to describe everything, instead of just showing things(directing is also out of the picture, because of leadership issues(on that sort of scale)).

Also, I know that if I did get the proper qualifications to pursue that career, I wouldn't get a chance to do so for a looong time, as I know that upon finishing uni, there's a long slog of crappy jobs, waiting for a chance to use those degrees and whatnot.

EDIT: If I could purchase anything? Then a nice house for my mother, my brother and myself to live in, somewhere with nice weather.

Aside from that, I would buy a beastly gaming rig and just play all of the games that crashed my PC out of spite.

Then, I don't know, buy/acquire a bunch of really expensive cars/things and smash then to bits?

In a kind of Tyler Durden, "I want to destroy something beautiful" kind of way.

I'd buy a fighter jet, fly into Burman airspace, fire a Sidewinder missile, jump out of the cockpit and onto the missile, surf it into an opium field, jump off just before it hits the ground, surf the resulting explosion while firing two Galil's into drug lords and land in a hot tub with four hot blondes drinking pina coladas.

Pay all my student dues, finally get a damn bed frame and keep going to class. I'd love to be able to code so well that I'd be able to work for Valve while writing music on the side. I'm already self-motivated, love meeting new people and being put into new situations and I can manage people reasonably well.

Being able to do work can be satisfying, as long as it isn't drone work. But doing something that you like and having people enjoy it as well is infinitely more satisfying.

If money wasn't an object I'd... Live off the land, or develop a skill to trade for sustenance and a roof over my head..

OT: I'd probably go to school.. Which I'm doing right now! Yay me!

Dual Xeon 12-Core CPU's (the variety that's a good £1800 a piece)
Quad-SLI GeForce Titans
64GB Kingston Hyper X Beast RAM

In an oil immersed enclosure and overclocked to preposterous levels.

Then I would get a giant wraparound monitor and play me some fucking games.

I'd buy a fairly large piece of property and have a house of my own design built. Travel a bit, both around the US and abroad. Since there would be no money worries anymore just continue doing my hobbies and actually be able to keep up with them.

If I could just do and have what I want without worrying about money? See the world, experience other cultures and all that. Learn to fly a plane. Maybe get some tats if I can decide on a design and go find a good artist(not the ones in my local area). Get a new monster of a computer, a ps3 a Xbox360 and fuck it, a Wii as well to replace my shitty ass laptop. collect movie and game concept art books and props. Though I would likely game less not more. Maybe get into adventure sports. Buy my family new houses, get my granddad into the best hospital home available. NEVER HAVE TO EAT MY OWN DISGUSTING COOKING AGAIN!

Job wise probably continue university for being a paramedic, maybe go for a medsciene career instead since I won?t be wasting cash if flunk or ditch (which is part of the reason I'm not even trying for it) it or just work for Oxfam. Maybe concentrate on art more, do some courses but I don't really want an art job.

Wow, I'm so fucking cliche.

If money was literally no object, I'd buy a house then quit my job and do basically nothing for the rest of my life.

I would buy the Colorado Rockies! Hire a gm who can put a championship team together. Sadly it would be too late to get Todd Helton a championship. I'd say buy the broncos too, but honestly Pat Bowlen is doing a terrific job.

Build cabin in woods, set all my friends for life.

Build a mech, or hire a team to build a mech. Not sure if I would go with a battletech mech, or go all out and build a jaegar.
Learn more computer skills, or just pay someone who already has them, and make "improvements" to my favorite games.

Continue my workout regiment, except turn my home into the best gym around. Learn martial arts from around the world i.e. Muay Thai from Thailand, jiu-jitzu from Brazil, judo from Japan, maybe study under the great sensei Neil Ohlenkamp himself, become good enough myself to teach others

Practice my martial arts, and master weaponry, both ancient and modern. work a few hours everyday on archery, marksmanship, take up Kendo, fencing.

Oh and of course play my games, tabletop RPG's with friends, movies, etc
Volunteer with Fire Department, Search and Rescue, EMS, or some combo.

Quit work, buy a really big house, buy a really really huge spaceship filled with supplies and fly around Earth for a few weeks until I got bored. Then I guess come home and buy happiness.
