What would you do If you had to direct a video game based movie?

what series or game would you base it on and what would you do with the licence? would you try to please the fanboys or would you keep it open for a wide audience? what style would it be?

Fuck, D9 was a film I really enjoyed. It made me wonder what the halo movie woulda been like.

I'd make Shadow of the Colossus, keep it very big in scope, large frames, far back, capturing the giant creatures, and make it a very arty movie, the same way that the game was one of the most beautifully done games to date.

I'd keep the plot the same, and try to include as many of the bosses as possible, within the 2 hour time limit.

I'd just try make the movie beautiful in its simplicity.
