Honestly, I'd never choose to eat cat, but it happens around the world (and none too rarely) so I wouldn't totally freak on them.

This, exactly this. If I liked the meat even if it was really weird I would probably still eating it. I mean in other cultures around the world pretty much every type of animal is eaten at some point. Meat is just meat. I mean if we were eating their actual pet cat then yeh it would freak me out haha.
