Call me kooky, call me crazy, but some strung-out sixteen year old doesn't seem like much of a threat, especially when I'm armed (as I usually am).

Something like 80% of weapons get used on the original owner in a street fight. But I suppose that's a very rough average.

I would Just say "You" or "Some freak(or guy) who's staring at me"

Yeah, actually. I'd take the AK or the Barret, but that tends to frighten people within city limits.

In my dreams I would say something that sounded like a compliment/apology but was a complete put down.
In real life it just isn't worth the time/trouble. I am not sure I could have kept myself from commenting on the cigarette stench, I would have walked away gagging and plugging my nose regardless. Maybe it would motivate me to finish that stupid conceal carry form I have put off for years...
