The original System Shock.

I love the two System Shock games, but I played the first one long after I played its sequel. I think the first one didn't age nearly as well as the second... and from what I've read, even when it was new, the controls and layout of the game were seen as somewhat finicky and overly-complex by most people who played it.

And of course, if you're going to update the first game, why not give the second one some love too?

Sadly not gonna happen though. The ownership of the rights to that series are all sorts of messed up. EA has the trademark to the name, but an insurance company holds the development rights. I bet SHODAN would be pissed to know that she's currently held hostage by a goddamn insurance company

I think there is some HD mods out there for both games

But yeah that is on my wishlist for HD remakes
