In all the Movies with fighters pilots and the like they all have cool call signs so I was just wondering what would your call sign be?Unsurprising I'd probably stick with lonewolf.
My friend thats just finished army training told me that normally people are given call sign nick names by the other cadets.

He gained a few which I thought were funny/awesome:

Wolfman - Because he is really hairy

Hollywood - Because he goes through bullets really quickly in training exercises

Woody - Because apparently he looks like Woody from Toy Story (Everytime he was in charge of a march, he said all he would hear every 5 mins is "I've got a snake in my boots")

There were more but I forgot.

Maybe Irish (Apparently I have a noticeable Irish accent even though I'm Australian)
My preferred call sign however would have to be Scarecrow (Just kidding though i am a huge Matthew Reilly fan) hopefully not Cannonball, maybe Halicarnassus, that would be a cool one

Edit: Although I am short sighted so if I was in the army I probably wouldn't need a call-sign seeing as I wouldn't be on the front line it would be very inconvenient to have to check my glasses in the middle of battle.

Extracallsign: Twitch(I dunno just sounds cool)

Kkkhkkhkh.

It sounds like that little burst of static your hear radios make in old war movies right after the guy says "over."

Shortened to Kkhk during combat to prevent confusion of course.
You, sir, deserve a medal.

I'd probably go with something portentious of my flight career like Scorchmark or Smoking crater.

Why, it would be "Waggleton P. Tallylicker", of course. Anything else would be silly.

Whatever I choose I'm fairly sure it would change to "easynow" after a couple of weeks.

Apparently I work too fast.

Why do I imagine every CO you'd ever have butchering that like mad?

Anyway, Orpheus would be pretty cool.

Either A. n00b or Thumper. A. n00b is the name I use on high score tables and Thumper is my nickname (don't ask).

Actually, as soon as they found that out, all of your squadron mates would call you Thumper.

you don't exactly get to pick your own. my uncles in the navy started calling my brother and me "thing 1" and "thing 2," respectively, when we asked them about their callsigns, and i was upgraded from "thing 2" to "skylark" after i fell out of a tree and broke my arm. so, guess i'm stuck with that one, since i went into opera as a college major and skylarks are songbirds...

A callsign, eh?

Rasz. It is a shorter form of my family name, and most people call me that way anyway so... I guess that's doubleplusgood?
