What WoW build?

I just got WoW and all it's expansion packs (I'm really late to the game.)and started playing as a hunter (Yes I know 'easy mode') and I was wondering 'whats the best hunter build?'. So I turn this to you, The Escapists what is the best WoW build? It doesn't have to be a hunter build just post whatecer build you find best for any class.

It all depends what you need/want, and your play style.

Agreed, I say play it to your strengths and learn the game (I havent played since wotlk launched so idk how much has changed)

I say you free style it and respec when you learn your class

Happy hunting now, oh, and might I suggest when you get to a high level, get a low level pet and grind him up to a high level, he will be HUGE (unless they removed that too?)

I tanked up until the end of BC as a protection warrior.
I was very good at tanking.
When I was needed to DPS'ed, I off specc-ed as an Arms/Fury hybrid.

I'm a retribution pally but was protection all the way up to 60.

As others have said: theres no real "best build" its just whatever fits every person's personal play style

back when I played I liked marksmen but they have changed the game allot since I played it but it was alot of fun sniping people from far off in alteric vally and it was a good build to fuck up healers

At the moment, survival hunters are, in general, the most powerful people in the game. However, Blizzard is taking steps to nerf them (reduce their power), and it doesn't really matter until the end-game anyway. For the moment, just pick the tree that looks the most interesting to you.

Just pick whatever you like the sound of while you're levelling. You can re-spec later on anyway , so it's not a big deal. By the time you get to 85, you will have figured out builds and be ready to change you specs.
