You know when a game character goes off, leaving his fate ambitiously?

Let's guess what happened to him/her/it.

Laura From Silent Hill 2.

She escaped the town, was adopted by James and lived a nice life...Until she can't resist the call to silent hill in Silent Hill 5: The Call!

Is it really 100% accurate that Laura was adopted by James? I mean yes some of the dialogue suggests that outcome but it's really impossible to believe with absolute certainty that "that" was the thing that Mary wanted James to do. Idk, just saying.

I wish there was a Silent Hill 5, and I mean a REAL Silent Hill sequel.

I can't think of any other character atm from another game.

I still think back to the Garfield comics where Jon's roommate, Lyman (i think was the name) just stopped showing up after year 8 or 10 or something. I thought it was just weird that they never touched up on that or brought him back.

My guess is they locked him in Jon's basement. Why he's locked there, no one knows.

(I know this is probably supposed to be about video games, but this was what came to mind first).

It gets weirder when you remember that Odie was Lyman's dog, not Jon's.

Honestly, this kind of dangling thread is pretty rare in the games I've played.

Dana from Prototype. You give her to the doctor, and then what? You never hear from her again.

i was playing R-Type today and wondered what happens to the ships that you don't manage to shoot and just fly past you. Don't they think to come back and shoot you in the ass or is it just time to go hang out at a bar somewhere.

This applies to quite a few games actually - as though you are bumping into random "enemies" on their way home who are in such a rush to get passed you.

Every uniqe character in the 1st Fable your given an option to kill and decide not to. They might as well be dead sense you never hear from them again and the events that occur from your confrontation with them still happen wietheher or not they liked you.

Whisper: her brother Thunder wants to kill you for "what you did to her." (beat her in a arena or killed her too)

Twin Blade: Assassins come to avenge him for(killing him/ruining his honor)

Your Sister: Disappears forever (If you do/don't kill her...) oh but you get a Sword for after the games story is over if you kill her... yeah...

Basiclly you think if you didn't murder any of them you'd get to have them visit form time to time or something right?

This. I just never saw any reason to spare people in Fable, you usually get a better reward if they're dead, and, like you said, you never see them again anyway.

That's an easy one. Vergil was far too wounded to pull out a win against Mr. God-Head the demon-lord, so while Phantom and Gryphon held him down, Mundus beat the staunch son of Sparda into submission and then took over his mind with probably very-invasive devil-surgery. After that, Vergil's amulet became the wedge Mundus needed to work his magic on that island and get things started. Nelo Angelo became a shell-personality dominating Vergil, using the amulet and probably alot of embedded sorcery to unlock a semi-powered Sparda-form.

Banjo's sister.
You save her from Grunty but she isn't in any of the other games. She is only briefly mentioned in Banjo-Tooie when you look on the side of a giant milk carton in Cloud Cukkoco(Spelling?) tat says "Missing since Banjo-Kazooie" and then shows a picture of Tootie.

The bank robber in "O' Brother Where Art Thou?" I want to know what happened to him and did he change. Oh, and Tak from Invader Zim, dead, alive, what?

Knives in the Trigun anime. I'm pretty sure he's dead but then Vash doesn't like to kill for one thing and it seems a little odd that he would carry Knives' corpse back to wherever for another.

Calvin of Calvin and Hobbes

I mean I know someone is going to quote me with that picture of a little girl going into the woods with Hobbes with an adult Calvin waving at her, but still. What ever happened to him? Did he grow out of his adventurous ways? Did he finally grow to like Suzy Derkins? (NAHHHHH)

You mean George Nelson? He was caught and set to be in the electric chair. He also boasted that he was, quote, "...gonna go off like a Roman candle!", so I guess he didn't really change.

OT: Clair Lasbard from Star Ocean: Til the End of Time takes it for me. After Adray, her father, joins your party, you never hear from her again. She even had more influence on the story than him.
