Whatever happened to...?

Whatever happened to Kid Klown? he was a great little character back in the day. A game on the NES, SNES and a Japanese-only PS1 game, then he...sort of vanished. What other great videogame characters have bit the dust in our time?

Probably to young to remember, i'll do some research.
And I just miss old PS1/PS2 exclusive franchises, that are now on PS3 in sequel form now that i'm Xbox only.

I would really like to see Mister Mosquito [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZpzlNUH_Hc] given an update with more intuitive controls. I think he could find an audience in this post-Katamari world.

I want Hype: The Time Quest 2! It was easily one of the best games of my childhood and it really bugs me that no one I know has ever played it.

Ahh, Mister Mosquito. Dunno how a sequel would do.

Someone do more with the Conker series, it disappeared it came out for the original xbox. Conker for 360 would be so awesome!
