What's a good healthy cereal?

Lately I've grown kind of tired of Cheerios (probably cause I eat them so much) for cereal and I was just wondering what other cereals (that are as healthy as cheerios) are out there that taste good? I'm asking you people because I don't want to waste my money on a box of cereal that I've never tried before and have it turn out tasting bad. How is Chex and Life? What about Honey Nut Clusters of Oats? (or whatever it's called)

Tastes really good and it's advertises itself as a "meal replacement." You should just read the back of the box and see what it gives you; it's very surprising how much they pack into it.

And I like Honey Bunches of Oats, but I dunno how good it is for you.

Ever consider buying some granola? One of my favourite breakfasts is a small bowl of granola with bananas and apples chopped in to it and I use vanilla yogurt instead of milk. A healthy and delicious way to start the day.

My old roommate ate tons of Kashi, which he said tasted like cardboard but was high in fiber or something. If you're focusing on the healthy part, then this?

I really like the Quaker oatmeal squares but I have no idea about their healthiness, though I would guess that they're about the same as Cheerios.

Try out Oatmeal Crisp with Vanilla Almond. Really it is delicious. Don't know if it's really super healthy, but it isn't crap cereal.

Just look at that spoon!

Well apparently Frosted Mini Wheats are rather good for you...I actually have no clue how, other than that my health teacher said that.

As for what is definitely healthy, I would say plain granola. Stay away from Kashi though, they add loads of sugar to that.

Stay away from extruded cereals like Chex and Kix and that sort of stuff as they aren't all that great for you and aren't much better than...Cheetos, I guess. More like a snack food for breakfast, or at worst, total junk food.

Frosted mini-wheats are okay, still a lot of refined sugar but at least it's a complete grain.

High-fiber flake and cluster cereals are not bad at all for you, but aren't the most palatable thing. Amount to large amounts of insoluble fibers and reinforced heavily with supplements more often than not. It's good for you, but it's...well, not very much fun, now, is it, and are we 50?

Best is probably honey-based whole grain granola with nuts and fruits added. Most nutritionally complete and usually delicious. Good with milk and yogurt, or even on its own. My favorite.

Delicious over plain Greek yogurt with some fresh fruit, if you're into that.
