I was browsing Wikipedia when look up some anime, when looking at the cast, it mentioned next to a Japanese voice actor something called Vomic. So I tried googling it, and I kept getting links to Japanese websites. So, does anyone know what it is, or is it just some miss interpretation or something like that?

I don't know. All I have to say is that I have a bad feeling about this.

It's short for "Video Comic".

Basically drama disks, which is where a novel or comic is voice acted similar to an audio book but all the characters get their own voice actor and sound effects are added, not described. They were so popular in Japan that the next logical evolution was to superimpose the audio over the top of scrolling comic/manga panels in a video.

Vomics first started showing up on NicoNicoDouga a few years back made by fans and were popular enough that publishing companies started to make official ones. Here's an example of the Nisekoi Vomic.

Some people more familiar with Nisekoi and Japanese voice actors might watch this and think "whoa! Kirito's VA as Raku and Asuna's VA as Chitoge!? What's going on here?" Well, Drama disks and vomics usually come out months to years before any anime deals go in the works and they're often used as indication on whether a series is popular enough that readers are interested in adaptations. So the VAs are often different. There's even a joke about this in Lucky Star where Konata talks about how it's hard to get used to the different voices in anime after listening to the Drama Disk. The more you know!

And as a bonus, an example of a typical drama disc:

So, it's kinda like a Motion Comic?
