I seem to find it a rant on how she has a show only because she is attractive?

Kinda silly considering EVERY SHOW EVER is the same.

Yea but a lot males seem to be emasculated when they see an allegedly attractive female who is just as good or is better than them at something they love, in this case gaming. I don't blame this guy for not liking something, everyone hates one thing that isn't hated a lot, this must be his thing, I feel sorry for the guy but its not that a big deal.

The video did make me laugh but she doesn't seem to be a quintessential bad gamer, she seems to be someone who is making videos because she likes games and she likes having fun. She doesn't seem to be a detriment to gamers but if this is the guys opinion I wont go ape shit at him.

It will suck if Lisa Foles actually sees this video though.

I don't mind Lisa. She does wear some what revealing clothing but she does admit this and seems to genuinely like games. So why criticize her for looking good while doing her show? Would he prefer her with a bag over her head and a rubbish bag for clothing?

I am not a fan of the why don;t you do better approach to critiscism, but I will say this. Do not critiscise while doing worse. This video was a static image on the screen whilst some chaps made fairly bland comments on how they thought someone was unnatactive, the flow was terrible, the jokes were bad abd there was a stench of bitterness and arrogance over the whole affair.

Lisa Foiles may not be the funniest thing on this site, but hte show fits togther tolerably well the jokes are mostly grin worthy and the host manages to pull off a charming script. So while she is attractive, that is not the sole element of the show.

well, you know it takes all sorts in this big wonderful world.

For a community that strives for civility and punishes it's members with great ease (given the overwhelming mod power) a lot of people here are quick to cast down fairly harsh criticism and personal shots (such as the numerous insults involving weight) on strangers.

This is a purely respondent thread in which the level of comment agression was set by the instigating video, in which numerous remarks were made about weight may I add. As such any attempt to paint this thread in an accusatorial light comes off as incongrous without a corresponding condemnation of the unprovoked pettyness that was in evidence by the defendent. Perhaps you would like to reevaluate your position and restate it with either more clarity or more consistancy. /cliche lawyer voice.

Eh, no big deal. Guy goes on youtube and rants about what he doesn't like. It happens every day (a lot.) Not a big deal to me, especially considering that given ANYTHING, there will always be someone out there who dislikes it.

As far as Lisa goes, I'm not a fan because it seems to me like she panders, and I don't like that, but I get that other people like her, and I'm really not obligated to watch. Live and let live.

Being an ass to an ass still makes you... an ass. Just because someone is being less than nice, doesn't mean everyone should decide to attack them. That's a great way to become just as bad as them.

No, a good way to become just as bad would be to attack someone who hasn't been an arse. These blokes have shown us how strong they are with their mighty wit and withering intelligence, so I'm sure that our pathetic little quibbles will do nothing to harm their viking like magnificence. Or in non-sarcastic, they picked on a person who (based on our admittedly small evidence pool) is not an arse, we picked on someone who was an arse, the situations, while comparable, are not equivelant.

Besides, in your initial remark, you made no comment, not even in passing, with regards to the initial video's comments, dishonestly making it appear as if these were innocent wanderers who had been set upon by this insidious forum.

For example, if you came across someone punching a weaker person, would punching the agressor be considered morally equivilent to the agressive act?
