Pork loin stuffed with apples, herbs, garlic, bread crumbs, toasted pine nuts and pepper and salt. Side of cream of asparagus soup and endive salad with candied walnuts and balsamic reduction. At least that what I am cooking for Mom and Nana.

I am on a diet so I am having steamed greenbeans and brussel sprouts with some brown rice.
Dammit.

Waffles. Not really dinner, but screw you, they're waffles.

Captcha: Push the envelope. How fitting.

An hour ago I had rice with fried chicken strips with sauce dripping, pumpkins and lastly a part of salmon. My dad made it so likewise it was good.
I admit I was in the mood for cow meat but those chicken are becoming my favourite.

I would have told them to clean up after themselves. Then again I know what kids are like...
Last night I made a spicy tomato pasta bake which I didn't eat because I wasn't hungry, I just had to make sure my house mate was well fed. Today I've been to the pub for something to eat (hunters chicken, nomnomnom) so I'm still not hungry, but I think I'm making Spaghetti bolognese later. I have it about once a week >.>

Silly Waagpowa, you should know to save that for breakfast, starts the day off right.
Apparently, because I got a warning for that.

Chips and fish fingers. Chips were kind of undercooked though.
French fries need to be crispy. I hate limp wedges of potato that must be held horizontally in order to sag them into some catsup. It is the worst. I live in the spud state so most people cook them right, thankfully.

Today I was supposed to make "Creole Chicken in a Slow Cooker", but I completely forgot to make it before I went to work... so I ended up just chopping up the chicken, throwing it into a pan and making the creole chicken anyway, and I threw in a few left over roast potatoes from Sunday. Turned out a lovely, spicy, stew. Had it with a naan bread. It was yummy :3

Worked late, got home to sink full of dirty dishes from my kids who had just hung out and snacked all afternoon. I had leftover taco fixings and threw 3 together in about 8 min. and was about to surf some when my kid comes down asking if, after she has been home for 5 hours, I would go get her and friend take out.

I declined. They're throwing a Digiorno's cheese pizza in the oven.

I have to go clean up their mess, but at least I delayed them enough to finish my tacos.

How'd your dinner go? What'd you eat? Any good? Who in your household prepared it?
Preparing to make tacos with venison in about an hour.
I hope it will be good.

So I guess the difference between a chip and a French fry is that one is cooked in the United Kingdom and the other cooked in the United States... which come to think of it, might actually be why we named ours after France.

P.S. That pic made me want some fried potato wedges.*

*just trying to be PC, don't want to start a potato war.

That sounds interesting. Maybe mix diced jalapeno and franks hot sauce with ground beef or turkey?

Sounds middle eastern: I understand more turkey per person is eaten per pound per year there than just about anywhere. Sounds like good stuff you made.

Sounds good. I've only had venison about 3 times in my life: dry if it isn't prepared right. Had tenderloins (dry) and trail baloney twice (quite good).

Tonight was boneless skinless chicken breast marinated in teryaki and grilled outdoors with mashed white potato and buttered mixed veggies. Kids had day off, house was bigger disaster today than yesterday, but they ate what I prepared. Little less work for me there.
