the difference is noticeable, mainly cause im on vista

A letter I read in the newspaper today pissed me off, the gist of it was "old people get too much flack for being drains on society" which I somewhat agree with, I mean, I don't like that a lot of them get pension when apparently 1/3 pensioners are sitting on over $1million worth of assests, but I detract from the point. This old geezer went on the claim that "the state of the world isn't our fault because it was the politicians"...Let me get this straight, all the beurocratic fuck ups and stupid, nanny state laws that have been passed are not your fault because you only voted for the retards who pass them? It just so happens that the Howard administration (while they did do some good things, like the gun control legislation, they did far more worse and are largely responsible for a lot of recession heartache due to their investing superannuation money in U.S companies) got overwhelming support from the elderly, including pensioners, without their votes we'd have had a left leaning government in power sometime over those 11 years....Last time I checked, in a country based on democratic elections you can't wash your hands of all the poor decisions.

This has been a very rage-filled week. Its only Tuesday.
