Ceiling tiles... the ones with all the little holes in, so the monsters can breathe.
There is also big air con vents, strip lights and little dividers to tell you whose section you are now standing in.

Down in our bunker we have the most monstrous Air Con unit hanging from the ceiling you can imagine... huge, blocky and loud!

(Yes. I am at work!)

EDIT: Oop! Just noticed a red dot sticker just up and to the right of me... no idea why, but it's there!

Nope, nothing out of the ordinary. Just a lone, solitary light globe. Very boring ceiling, apparently. Good knowledge to reflect upon,

Um, I see floor joists, potable water pipes, cobwebs, hydronic heating pipes and tubing, maybe some spiders, some fluorescent shop lights, electrical wires, gigabit Ethernet cabling, an old wireless G Linksys AP I put in ages ago, even more cobwebs...

Yeah, I'm in a basement. Wanna fight about it? At least it's comfy all year long?

Nothing but a light. This thread succeeded in making me afraid to look up, lest a massive spider fall on my face, though.

Some incandescent lights, the AC air vent, probably some duct work, wires (holding the drop down ceiling tiles), ceiling tiles.....that's all I've got.

Assuming you're still alive, that's probably a sniper dot.

OT: The blue is darker now. I'm not sure if it's still there. I turned off the light and now I can't find it any more. Send help.

Other than that discolored place with the plaster patch where I plunged into this room from the attic that one time? Not much.

A dead spider I never removed (seems to be a worryingly frequent theme of squashed bugs on ceilings here) a light, a smoke detector and the hatch to go to the roofspace - Where all the crap of the house is kept.

Some paint, and a lamp. There is a cobweb in the corner, and I admittedly have no idea how it got there. We get a lot of cobwebs in this house, but the spiders are nowhere to be found.

Well there is, on average, 20 spiders in each room, soooo...

Also, patterned wallpaper. Or patterned ceiling paper? Previous tenants loved wallpaper, even in the bathroom. Unless that isn't weird to have wallpaper in bathrooms.

A light, and a distinct lack of paint compared to the other walls in the room. That way I'm not just looking into a black void.

But in all seriousness:

I don't think wallpapered bathrooms are that weird, I just think they're a little mold-prone and probably not very attractive. What's REALLY weird and unsanitary in a bathroom is CARPETING.

Wall paper in bathrooms is an odd choice especially if it has a bath/shower. As the heat and moisture will peel the wall paper, wall paper tends to be a lot less durable than paint.

A butterfly printed white-pastel peach sleeveless tunic top. Attached to a detachable internal clothesline near my window.

Sometimes I miss having a regular backyard. You can't put everything in a clothes dryer.

Well on the plus side, you don't have to worry about anyone stealing it from your yard.

By the way I finally caught the tarantula.
