Ever?
Hey, I played that notorious ET game. It really was horrible.

Of this gen I would have to say the Bionic Commando game (the one on disc).

Superman 64. I can't really mention anything earlier than that because I was too young to know if games were bad back then.

As in worst quality game I've played... Prototype.
As in worst because of it's effect on gaming... A tie between Halo, WoW and GTA 3.
I think you opened my eyes a bit there. Is this what everyone means when they call Modern Warfare 2 the worst game ever? This whole time I thought they genuinely believed it to be a worse experience than stuff like Party Babyz or ET, but instead, they're juding it by its effect on gaming? Thanks for the info.

Grabbed by the Ghoulies for teh ecksbawks. Goddammit Rare. Oh well, at least Viva Pinata was a decent MS exclusive.
Still, Grabbed by the Ghoulies did inspire one of EGM's funnies game parodies, "He Grabbed My Goulies", starring Michael Jackson.

Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing

I heard about how bad it is and wanted to see for myself. And I assure you, it is an atrociously bad game. Nothing already mentioned in this thread even comes close. At least they're more or less functional games.
Yes a friend showed me that game recently, you were able to drive off the map and you could go faster backwards than you could forwards(at about 200Mph).
That game is an atrocity.

Prey.

I picked it up at GAME when they were essentially giving it away free with copies of a Serious Sam compilation pack (it was £5, but there was £5 off the pack if you bought them together). Such a great premise, such an unlikable main character, such an arse game when it got going. Sad.

Kane and Lynch : Dog Days. Fucking shit. Yahtzee should have slagged it off even more than he did. I paid a fiver for it and I'd rather have paid a fiver to get red hot needles plunged through my testicles. DO NOT BUY IT. Even if it costs you a penny.

LSD Dream emulator. Watched Azuritereactions LP and he made it seem really scary.
Got it, not worth it. I thought it had procedurally generated content but it was the same levels and throwing yourself off a cliff ended the dream, which meant you could "complete" it really easily.

EDIT:
Also, for a mainstream game, prototype was pretty bad. Awesome open world, very crappy gameplay. So many good game mechanics slaughtered

Medal of Honour, hands down worst game of 2010. Crappy n' short campaign, highly unlikeable characters and shitty story telling. The multiplayer is repeatative and mundane. The gameplay is just soooo boring and shooting people is even worse. Screw you DICE!
Dice only made the mp, Danger cloce made the single palyer
And back to topic: FF13

Funny. I actually liked FF13.

OT: Probably Sonic 06. That game was such a major disappointment. There were tons of glitches in the game, and some very annoying characters. (i.e. Silver and Elise)

Resident evil: Code Veronica. Can't believe I actually hated it. DOn't get me wrong the first part was absolutely brilliant on the island with some actual variety and monsters. yeah, ok the bandersnatches were a pain in the arse, but it was really fun. Then came the completely retarded part when they decided to put the rest of the game in the antarctica. I had to stop at one point and ask: "Why am I in the north pole?"

From then on in it just got sillier with Chris and randomly wesker. I completed the game finally but it just felt like a complete let down. Especially as I'm a huge resident evil fan.

i cast my vote for black ops (ima pc gamer). the graphics were worse than MW2, the campaign was about 4 hours, 5 at most. even when i got into the multiplayer i just didn't find it as good as previous COD games. sniping was absolutely pointless, the maps were too small, or when they were big there was no open spaces, it was all used up so again, no sniping.

all of these problems i could have overlooked, if the game didn't run like a pile of arse, had to wait around 3-4 weeks to be able to play it online properly, and even then it was laggy as hell with connection issues (no its not my pc, it runs every other game fine).

if it weren't for zombie mode i would have completely regretted buying this game, but even zombies has trouble connecting friends online =\
I completely agree with you. Even though the multiplayer is pretty balanced, the game was boring as hell(if you can actually get in a game that is). Zombies are awesome though but as you said, it throws out everyone when you're trying to start a match.

Medal of Honor Heroes 2 (Wii)

A game with a pretty high review score with almost all sites claiming things like "best FPS controls on Wii outside of Metroid Prime 3" and "best multiplayer on the system" (the game supports up to 32 players at a time). When I played it I found that I am controlling what feels like an elephant made out of cement, your required to make a wii motion to pump the shotgun or reload (can't be changed) and trying to shoot anything feels like pure luck.
