My sister's brownies. Shame, because everything else she makes usually turns out pretty good.

Rice cakes have a distinct taste - like Sugar Puffs but less sweet. I dunno, maybe I'm eating different rice cakes to everyone else.

Like someone said up there, I once ate a fruit that had absolutely no taste whatsoever. I'm not sure what it was, I got it in an exotic fruit selection basket that I won in a prize draw. Not quite the £500 first prize I was hoping for, but still. It may have been one of these [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyrus_pyrifolia].

That made me laugh out loud for, like five minutes. I don't know why that's so damn funny to me...

Ok, anyway, I'd have to say the shrimp Jambalaya served at the hospital in which I work. That stuff has at least 15 ingredients in it, but instead of amplifying flavor they all seem to cancel each other out. It tastes like liquified, unsalted crackers.

Raw top Ramen noodles.

They taste like nothing but I can eat like 4 bricks of them and won't feel any less hungry

EDIT: or liquid paper. don't ask why I ate any......

All the food at my cousin's wedding. Good god, everything tasted like it was made of either water, linen, or cardboard.

Shredded wheat. It's pretty bland but I enjoy it. I had gnochi with my mom's home made pasta sauce once and it seemed to be surrounded by some kind of anti flavour field. The sauce itself was good but the gnochi itself was so devoid of flavour it cancelled out the sauce.

The Pizzas they serve at the uni bar. I swear that they use wallpaper paste instead of tomato puree.

A big red juicy looking apple. The moment I saw it in the market I grabbed that sucker like there's no tomorrow. When I plunged my teeth into it expecting heaven I got...nothing. It had no taste, goddamnit! A big, juicy looking freaking apple with no taste. I think I cried a little when I realized I just spent my money on pretty much nothing.

MacDonald's in Mullingar. It's one step up from styrofoam.
I've eaten styrofoam. Not the blandest thing in the world. Actually it has quite a lot of character.

OT: American cheese.

My mom's homemade chicken soup.

I appreciate the effort she puts into it the occasional times she makes it, but it's bland enough that you gag on it.

Smash instant mash potato. I don't know what I was expecting exactly, rehydrated freeze dried potato granules were never going to be a flavour sensation...
