Bayonetta for the first time.

Yeah, yeah, I know, shoot me for not playing it up until now.

But get this. It was the PS3 version. And I loved it.

[sub][sub]I bet you all hate me now...[/sub][/sub]

Honestly, I'm not sure. Whether BoS were considered 'allies' or not just didn't come up when I followed the Yes Man quest line. I simply assumed that they would at least be neutral towards my new New Vegas regime, because of my good standing with them due to all the favours I did them, and nothing in the ending contradicted that.

Are you me? I did the exact same thing in the end.
They really should have had some other option besides wiping out the Brotherhood, maybe requiring a high level speech check, because except for that House is a pretty reasonable fellow who makes a lot of sense, but I just couldn't agree to wiping out an entire group of people like that. Especially since:

A: They don't seem like much of a threat to House's operation. If the Securitron army is enough to defeat and/or scare off both the Legion and the NCR, I don't think they'd have that much difficulty with the relatively small Brotherhood chapter, who are too busy hiding from the NCR. And that's assuming that they do intend to attack in the first place.

B: This is unbeknownst to House but if you've already been doing Veronica's quest to reform the Brotherhood and get them to change their focus from hoarding technology and attacking anyone else who possesses it, you know that they're not as likely to attack Vegas as House thinks they are.

EDIT: Oops, I meant to edit the above post to group these replies together, but I forgot. Sorry!

The last game I finished was Infamous. I didn't really like the game to begin with, but it got really good towards the end, with a few surprises and plot twists

Portal. It was as good as it had been the other five times I had finished it. Currently waiting for my copy of Portal 2 to arrive.

Portal 2, a few months ago, I'm now in the middle of my New Game Zealot Mode Dead Space 2 run, it's much more fun than when I first completed it on Casual.

But yeah Portal 2; fantastic game, t'was hilarious and challenging so I very much enjoyed it.

My last game was MAG. "But that has no campaign!", I hear you cry. This is true, but at last I got to level 70, enabling me to restart the game with extra bonuses. I enjoyed this game, as no mission is ever the same. If you insist on a game with a campiagn, then Mass Effect 2 is my answer. A great game, well worth buying.

THe first Infamous I got for free because of the PSN thing.

I thought the game was a 8/10. The gameplay was good, but all the characters felt uninteresting and I only gave a shit about Zeke. Cole was just too negetive to be even slightly interesting.
Same, but why would you care about Zeke? He let Alden break out killing dozens of guards, he always uses you just to get laid, and he would let thousands die so he could get superpowers(most likely for his own self-gratitude) from the raysphere. Sure he came back to help you fight Kessler, but he didn't change anything. Overall great game. 9/10
He had sunglasses.

I was expecting 500 people saying Portal 2. I'm surprised by the cross section, either a lot of people have been smashing out some games or they haven't played Portal 2.

Portal 2 last weekend - a rare occasion when I felt completely satisfied from the experience of completing a game.

The last two games I completed were Apollo Justice and Super Mario World (3DS Virtual Console). AP was a great game. Not the best in the series by a long shot, but still worth the tenner I bought it for.

Mario, though - didn't like it. Its an old Game Boy game and Mario game to boot, so I wasn't expecting a long romp through the Mushroom Kingdom, but even with that in mind I found it too short and easy.

So what is the game you most recently finished? Tell us about it and what you thought of the game overall.
Does this pertain to games that I replayed recently, or games that I've recently beaten for the first time?
Any game that was the last one you finished and saw the credits roll, even if you have played it before.
In that case, I believe the last game I played from start to credits was Halo 3, which I helped my girlfriend through on co-op.

inFamous 2. Probably my second favorite game to come out this year, next to Portal 2. The good ending was really good, in my opinion.

My last was Mass Effect. I've heard lots of stories about how the combat system of the second is way better than the first... and though I didn't have any problems with the first, I can't wait to see the second.

Last game I've beat was Terraria. Which is to say, I've killed every boss and have an ultra set of equipment. There's little left to do but slaughter them again.

I really liked the style of the game, though the 2D aspect really holds it back, complexity-wised, from Minecraft and such. No one will ever build a CPU or Giant Statue in this game. Fortunately, it focuses on platforming and combat and has bright, cheerful graphics. It was a great buy for $10 and I hope to see more from Redigit.
