EDIT: Actually, it was Deus Ex, I gave it a go yesterday and I was surprised at the depth even just in the first level. It took a bit of getting used to but when you realise that it isn't meant to be played as a shooter then you start to really get into it.

Half Life 2!

Because I bought the orange box of Play.com for £14 for my Xbox 360 because it was cheap and i wanted to play portal.

Even though I had played Half Life 2 some 6 years ago (my word..) I forgot how good a game it was but what I hadnt forgotten was pretty much the whole game, knowing exactly what was going to happen next and when a boss fight was going to occur.. after six years yet i cant remember somethings from 2 weeks ago (really dont know what that says about me)
