Jak 2. Sadly I never got far. I can't properly use a PS2 controller after having used a PS3 one for so long. And it doesn't help that my PS2 controller is a third-party one that is larger than the average one.

Counter-Strike: Source. I'm blown away by the fact that a game released in 2004 has a community so active. Even 1.6 has an extremely dedicated community.

Also, I just bought Ninja Gaiden Σ but it was made in 2007. Close enough, though...

Installing Alpha Centauri now, to find out if I am viewing it with rose-tinted glasses or if I do remember correctly and it is,as my gut is telling me, far, far, Far better than civ5 =/
