Definitely The Stand followed by It. And then if you're counting series it's Wheel of Time. Most time-consuming was The Lord of the Rings in French though...

This one i can never forget.
When i was a kid one of my first fantasy books: Lord of the Rings collecting all three stories in one. That is one of the longest and hardest things to read. It was so heavy and difficult to read that book.
tho for singles i think the 5th Harry Potter was pretty big. And i remember reading a book about a thief who got a talking cat which turned to be a god but cant remember the name.
But LotR will forever remain the big one and also the one book/s that i will never re-read again!

If a book series doesn't count (and I'm guessing it doesn't) then it would be The Stand By Stephen King, around 1400 pages long. And I've read it four times. A very good book that one.

Same for me, the uncut version of "The Stand". Terrific story, that one. I could probably read it again (and someday will!)

It makes sense but I always expected it to have like 3 million pages hidden behind that small exterior for some reason. Which is fair enough considering its the supposed book of God, they could equip it with some novelty tricks at least.

Battlefield Earth which I think was roughly 1000 pages long give or take. I'm not sure what compelled me to read it in the first place but I did.

The second longest book I've read would be Finnegans Wake which is around 600 or so pages.

My longest book would be "A people's tragedy" by Figes. I don't remember how many pages it was exactly, but it was more than 1000 in any case. Every single one of those pages was worth it, though.
