What's the most fun in Garry's Mod?

Ah, my first post. Anyway, I own Garry's Mod (or gmod) and I usually Rp or play zombie survival and sometimes build. But what I want to know is, what am I, and other people, missing out on. What's you're favorite gamemode, contraption or random thing about gmod?

I played Garry's Mod for the first time yesterday, and made a flying car. My friend said that it was actually really good for the first thing I'd made.

You need to buy it off steam for 10$ (around 25$ if you're buying a pack with a source game)

Anyways, because my laptop is a piece of crap, I can't play Garry's Mod.

I'm not sure if I should get GM. Due to my crap computer, in source games most dynamic objects seem to fade out of vision at about 5-10 metres away.

I can say, however, on Half-Life 2 co-op servers, getting slam mines is a hoot. Dump one in the middle of the gun stash at the spawn, and hide in the corner of the room. When somebody spawns and runs for the stash, detonate and watch everything go flying. They usually just stand still WTF-ing, staring at the source of the explosion.

I think the best thing is... when you have Orange Box, not just TF2/Counter Strike, like I did. Now I have yet to try it with everything unlocked, but I really enjoyed making rockets, traps or vehicles. Or even just trying to make buildings of poor quality.
