Oil's Well by Sierra games!

Speaking of Sierra, I'll also add:

Mutant Hockey- might not be the most obscure Genesis game I played but that's the one I remember right now.

And the killing blow-

Jagged Alliance 2 for PC and Shadow of Memories for Ps2 seem to be the two obscurest (is that the right word?) ones for me, but I'm sure others have heard of them and played them...

Holy Shit, I *just* remembered that game for the first time in years and my initial thought was 'wasn't that the card-style game with the amazing soundtrack?' so I looked it up and I'll be damned, it does indeed have a fantastic soundtrack!

Anyway, Etherlords aside, most obscure games I own right now, hmm...

Earthsiege 2 & Nexus: The Jupiter Incident.

Earthsiege amazingly enough was the predecessor to a mech game called Starsiege which itself eventually got a spinoff named none other than the famous 'Tribes'. Meanwhile Nexus is a semi-indie game made a few years back that plays sorta like a singleplayer EVE, not bad at all.

Bet on Soldier, Lost Magic, (Breath of Fire III's very well known), Boktai one and two and Lunar Knights, Grandia, Jade Cocoon, Threads of fate, Luminous Arc, Cross edge,Gurumin, Popolocrois... The list goes on.
-edit- Forgot... Bahamut Lagoon. Love that game

Iji (PC), Seven Kingdoms II: The Frytan Wars (PC), Love and War (PC), Riviera: The Promised Land (GBA), Metal Saga (PS2), One Final Scream (PC), Rune: Viking Warlord (PS2), Future Tactics: The Uprising (a GREAT and under-appreciated game for multiple systems that no one bought), Demon Sword (NES), ActRaiser (SNES), and finally Soul Nomad and the World Eaters (PS2).

EDIT: Also, Sigma Star Saga (GBA).

EDIT: THE RETURN: Also, Quest 64 (N64).

A Bard's Tale. The game made great satire of the RPG and fantasy stereotypes.

Ohh, that game! The friend I knew who had it sold it before I could play much of it, but I fell in love with what I saw. So great.

Gundam Crossfire is fairly obscure, since it was rated so low and nobody heard of it.
Stair Dismount and its sequel Truck Dismount are fun freeware ragdoll games.
Sumotori Dreams is also another great freeware ragdoll game.
JFK Reloaded, I got the free orphanware version. I wouldn't pay for anything like that.
Scorched 3D, a freeware tank game
Soldat, a freeware 2D platform/deathmatch shooter (see a pattern here).

Not exactly obscure, but more of overshadowed. A PS1 game called "Dave Mirra's Freestyle BMX". It was overshadowed massively by the Tony Hawk games, both of them being extreme sports games, but DMFS was, and is, still a fun game to just chillax and play.

I think there was a Pigskin Football game that had you playing football with vikings and other warriors, and you would dismember and kill the other players. I think that was on NES or Genesis. i can't remember.

I don't really know many gamers really, so basically all of my games are obscure to them. the WTF game on the PSP is pretty wierd though, and I doubt many people I know would have played that.

Sierra's Lords of Magic. Many a year ago. Honestly, I'm not sure whether it's obscure or not. I've just never heard it mentioned anywhere ever really, so I just assumed it would be.

Anyone else heard of it? I'm listening to some of the soundtrack now, having major flashback/nostalgia trip. The odd things was I'm fairly sure it was utterly shit...
