Fable 2. The "comunity" can say what it wants about games like GTA 4 and fable 2 but I enjoyed them because i didn't follow the development of the games for years. I picked it up for 20 dollars and played it constantly (games pretty short but fun to replay....although the tutorial gets pretty annoying)
I was quite happy with that game and had been stalking it since it was first announced. Only thing I didn't like was the multiplayer.
I don't have xbox live so i didn't even notice.

Almost forgot
Oblivion and AC 2
I sort of understand the complaints about AC2 but at the same time....i didn't care. Its sort of like the gaming equivalent of crank 2 with the kinetic over the top action and kills (and seeing an enemy running away scared, right off of a building, was pretty hilarious even if it was an AI glitch. I actually liked the story too but for the most part i just loved the action and platforming aspects.
Those were good games, although AC2 had one weird plot twist.

I can not stop playing my copy of Bioshock 2 right now. The reason is that I've been waiting for it to come out since it was announced and I love the atmosphere in the game. Even though it is the same. Also, no bumping! Bumping bad.
Would you say its worth the full price?
Well I think that is was for me. It a;; depends on what you like in a game and if you can accept that the atmosphere didn't change. However the story I think is a lot more interesting this time.
Hmm...maybe I'll wait for it to go down in price. How long is it?
I haven't beaten it yet, I barely got it only a few hours ago.
Damn. I'm just hoping if I buy it, I won't beat it in 5 hours.
Then you better wait and buy a used copy

Bad Company. I'm so obsessed with the online and trying to finish it (to best I can) before March, and then the adventure begins again! Whoo, ah yeah I'm glad my girlfriend understands.

Little Big Planet... After figuring out those little circuit board techniques, I was building all kinds of cool shit...

Not to mention it's probably the only game my one friend has that I can play with him since he lives on the opposite side of the states now.

Well before I kicked the habit it was WoW *shudders*

Lately, ME2. I Got Dante's Inferno today and didn't even unwrap it because I got caught up in ME. AC2 destroyed my winter break.

Truth.

There have been other games. But Oblivion had the longest stay power. I'm not still obsessed with it (although I still love it), but I do go back to it now and then.

The first Mass Effect (I haven't gotten 2 yet, but probably that too) and Kotor 1. God, I love me some space operas.

Also, Resident Evil 4, but a lot of that had to do with being a die-hard Leon fangirl.

WoW. That shit was my crack for awhile. I had to quit because it was consuming my life. God I want to play it right now.

Mass Effect 2. I already clocked more than 100 hours with it since it came out, which is rare even for me...

Morrowind.

It sucked me in with its strange, beautiful, twisted world and kept me sane through high school, I played it to death. That game and my character (Rolan the Redguard) will always have a special place in my heart. To me, there will never be a game quite like it.
