I sort of understand the complaints about AC2 but at the same time....i didn't care. Its sort of like the gaming equivalent of crank 2 with the kinetic over the top action and kills (and seeing an enemy running away scared, right off of a building, was pretty hilarious even if it was an AI glitch. I actually liked the story too but for the most part i just loved the action and platforming aspects.
Actually I was goin to say the same thing, AC2 Rulz, maybe i should give AC 1 a chance, unless anyone can give me a reason not too.
Anyway, I just finished the story part of the game, I just gotta complete a few side missions and find about 50 feathers and that'll be 100% and my second Platinum Trophy (PS3)

Also another game I couldn't put down was the 2 Uncharted games, I hadnt played Drakes fortune so I bought them at the same time and played 1 after another.

So yeah, Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Theives and Assassins Creed 2
Oh yeah, and Borderlands

I often play EA's NHL series games until wee hours of the morning.

Other games like this include:

Red Alert 2
Worms Armageddon
Counter Strike
Legend of Disgaea
Super Mario World
Tetris
Restaurant City
Madden games
FFVI - FFX
FFT
Shining Force 2
Vandal Hearts 1 and 2

You get the idea. I used to and still do play games for hours at a time. Putting them down is difficult for me when I get into a game.

Tf2 is pure crack in video game form, I've played that for an hour or 2 every day since i got it last march. For pure binging, the last game for me was twilight princess, which I played 10 hours a day until I finished it (and with a decent portion of the sidequests done.)

Final Fantasy IX - my second real RPG and utterly gorgeous.
Morrowind - if only Oblivion had this much to do.

Halo for awhile. KotOR sucked me in pretty bad too. I think ive started 4 or 5 games on there and beaten it or gotten close twice.

Played Mass Effect 2 for a total of 10 hours today (not all in one sitting though) and only just managed to tear myself away because I need to try and relax, so I'm not too hyped to fall asleep in a few hours.

It's very very rare I'll spend the majority of my waking hours playing a game, in fact its rare for me to play a game even for 3 hours in a day. I just lose interest usually and have to do something else. But Mass Effect 2 is the perfect combination of shooting and role-playing and its mixed up in such a way that neither go on for long enough to get dull before something new and exciting keeps me playing. Amazing game.

Most recently, Fallout 3. Every game I've started on it has gone longer than 100 hours with no storyline missions completed except for the bit in Megaton where you find out where your Dad headed off to. After installing a couple of mods I spent even longer before finishing off the original story and moving onto Broken Steel, which I still haven't performed a single mission of yet.

The game that has sucked the most time out of my life though is Final Fantasy VIII. It was my first ever FF and JRPG and I played it to death. It reached the point where I had Squall hit level 90+ before I'd even go to Timber for the first SeeD mission and I'd constantly be using Card against the crappy monsters at the start in the hopes of getting a couple Jumbo Cactaur/Krysta/Trauma cards to make rolling Zell's mum for his card extremely easy.

There have been a few over the years but the biggest culprits in the last decade are:

Freelancer
Fable
Mass Effect 2
Total War (Any since Medieval)

I can not stop playing my copy of Bioshock 2 right now. The reason is that I've been waiting for it to come out since it was announced and I love the atmosphere in the game. Even though it is the same. Also, no bumping! Bumping bad.
But you must have stopped to make this post!

In all seriousness, it took me sever hunger pangs and a strong nic fit to stop playing Silent Hill: Shattered Memories.
