Whats with Australia?

Any aussie gamers want to explain why you guys have so much oppression when it comes to games and media? Actually explain where they are coming from. I now hear that the gov. down under is implementing chinese style filters to keep unrated/unapproved material from coming through the internet. This totally won't fly in the states, there would be an uprising and it would be biblical. Gamers everywhere would take up arms (naturally waiting the 5 day period)and start shooting at each other and there would be chaos in the streets. RIAA and MPAA can go fly kites for all i care.
