Strangely enough, I just got the PAL version of Agarest 1 today.
Unfortunately there were some problems, so I have yet to play it.

I love SRPGs though and the Soul Breeding premise sounds like it could be extremely cool.

Ehh.
Everything iv heard and seen about the games is that the Soul Breed system is the only good thing about it.
Other than that it looks like just another bland Ecchi SRPG.
But iv never played it so who knows.

That is the catchiest jingle I've heard in a long time -- possibly ever. If I spoke the language, I would probably have it stuck in my head for the next month, and the tune will probably be there for a while anyway. I wish the commercials for V8 were that good.

OT: The only thing I really see wrong with this game is the uncanny valley effect mentioned above. It's sexually suggestive, so what? I'm sure we've all seen worse. The weird ass jiggle (pun intended) is pretty freaky, however. Actually, it reminds me of this terrible, terrible christmas special, which used lazy tweened flash animation to accidentally terrifying results.


Believe it or not, that clip is less uncanny than the rest of the special, it was just the only clip I could find on youtube.

I think I prefer ferret chucks, but that would work. There's nothing worse than being shot by an angry ferret. And what ferret won't be angry after being shot from a bow?

To be completely honest, as I usually am, the descriptions all looked interesting. The problem is, the previews looked creepy and this one looked creepier.
