i love all RPG's no matter what form they come in. from the final fantasy's to oblivion to Borderlands. But when i tried Fallout 3 i just couldnt get into the game. i got up to megaton. did a few missions then left it. does it get better as the game goes on? or are the missions worth rooting through like Oblivions?

same creators as oblivion so ya go through all the quests and it gets really entertaining as you go though

Just don't expect much for the ending. I'm not going to give away any spoilers, but it was sort of mediocre. Still enjoyed the rest of the game though.

The engine needs some fixing? Otherwise its pretty much awesome. I like the way Bethesda designs games.

If you want a better told story go buy Dragon Age: Origins.

To be honest Fallout 3 is boredom city once you realize the map of the game is far too big for it's own good. You could cut that thing in half and still have room for all of the locations.
im really looking forward to getting dragon age. but i never got rid of Fallout so i was just wondering should i give it another go.

To me, the whole.. I guess you could call it "Greatness" is just the factor of exploration, being able to travel and roam around and do what you want, it's awesome. It's not very quest oriented, though that is an important part of the game, but I just love walking around the Capital and visiting the monuments and stuff, like the "tourist" I am.

A few glitches, but overall it's as close to perfect as we're ever likely to achieve in this generation of consoles. I loved it, I have honestly never been more impressed with a curent gen game as I have with Fallout 3.

It feels kind of odd to say this after playing Fallout 3 so much, but I don't think it's as good as people make it out to be.

That said, it isn't a bad game, but once you get to a point there just isn't much left to do.

Get all the DLCS and some mods if you're on PC. It gets much much better, trust me.
I totaly agree with this the DlC's make the game worth it and aside from the main story there are many area's in the game that have there own side story's and with so many ways to complete the missons it's worth replaying just to see how things would have turned out.

Fallout 3 starts at the maximum peak of fun. When you are first introduced to the environment and the feelings of suspense you get when you first fight raiders at say, the school. From here, you grow steadily more powerful to a point where enemies are simply bags of flesh and it takes no effort to just walk all over them.

If you didn't enjoy the game at the start there is little chance of that improving.

It's a good game... but I can't help compare it to Fallout 2. Fallout 3 is nowhere near as good as it's prequels.

I never played any of the previous games, I'm just loving this one anyway. I play slowly, so I'm not even done with a first play through of the main game yet. I'm kind of torn between finishing the last story quest and doing a big side quest mop-up at the moment...

i did that the first time i played it. sold it as well, but then bought it again eventually. you really have to persevere with it before it gets really fun. i thought the first couple of hours were pretty weak, but once you've done more it gets very cool.

Don't stop now. It's what I did and I didn't enjoy it, but when I picked it back up and started really getting into it, it was a whole lot of fun. Trust me, just keep going and it gets better.

I never played F3 beggining to end so I can't give you an accurate reason but I have to say it is hard to get into it's slow and you really have no clue what your doing. Now do not quote me on this because I very well may have been not good at this game at all.
