The problem is getting to the store and buying something else instead. I think a big part is that I fundamentally want to get more for my buck right away. Probably will have to replace that cord. I think it's a fire hazard.
That's why you keep your money where you can't spend it, i.e. not in your wallet or on your debit card or checking account.
Oh, and with your problem you had BETTER NOT EVER GET A CREDIT CARD. You will be in debt up to your eyeballs.
I could give you a better hint if you told me what method you were paying with - cash, debit, check, credit, what?[/quote]
Cash. I had a credit card, and DID have debt up to my eyeballs until I forced myself to pay it off. My gaming budget was reduced to a lean $25 /week. This is down from... That's a huge step down from my previous $100/week. It's cash.

You could do what I do and just have ways of getting Nds games for cheap or just when your going to get the ram smack yourself when you see an psp or Nds till you buy the ram and install it.
I (mostly) buy my nDS/PSP games from a local used game store. I'm buddies with the guy who owns it, and am what can only be described as a steady customer. He keeps relatively obscure older systems aside for me to buy a lot of the time. It's a good thing.
I think it's mostly stuff like convincing myself to replace this plug. Deep down I know it's a pressing issue. It needs to be resolved... But again, I think the problem is apathy.
Why replace the adaptor if I can't really play games on the system, and the components to upgrade would carry a hefty price. So I do nothing.
