Half Life 2 didnt change the game industry. Halo did. its not a bad game, what it caused is what fucked gaming up

its not a good game, its a generic game back when generic didnt even exist yet outside of racing games

i said its decent, but very generic, even when there were not enough FPS games to even say there was a generic FPS. everything in Halo excluding regenerating armor had been done before (note that it was the first FPS released with vehicles, others were in production)
