What's wrong with RAGE?

Compared to borderlands and fallout, what's missing is an xp bar for those reward moments you get when your brain tells you you've become better. And a talent tree ofc.

Rage lacks the anger inducing features to truly live up to it's name.

i think you found the itch i was trying to scratch.

In RAGE i was hoping to see a game that truly embraced its Mad Max-ian setting. Something that took Doom's take on slaying a thousand foes and applied it to a narative of vengeance and carnage that perhaps culminated in something with weight born out through frenetic gameplay where some emotion in the vein of anger was evoked at a truly despicable foe.

I'm playing Rage at the moment and I feel something is missing indeed, I'm not really having fun with it, sure its pretty, got weapons and good characters, but I think that YOUR character is the one that is wrong, he doesn't give me a RAGE drive to go on with the story and figure what's going on, also the story is weak as week and the flow of the combat feels terrible.

Ugh, I might return it tommorow because I can't find many things that I like with it, then I'll feel sorry for the rest of my Rage stuff. (Got a special edition from Eb Games from here in Aus and it gave me more stuff, including a wingstick, badges and a piece of art.
