Dunmer, Dunmer and more Dunmer.

Also, in case no one else mentions it, Dunmer.

The Dunmer. You know, screw the dragons. I just want to retake Morrowind for them.
Ghostwise said:
I've always loved the Dunmer and they are pretty awesome in Skyrim. They look so damned wicked.

I also find Dark Elves to be kinda cool.
...Want to guess what my answer is?

Yeah. Fucking badasses, those Dunmer. Also, I want those daggers. Where the hell do I find them?

Breton, "Passionate, eccentric, poetic, flamboyant, intelligent, and willful, and are excellent cooks, the Bretons feel an inborn, instinctive bond with the mercurial forces of magic and the supernatural." ((From some wiki)) I love playing a mage, and it´s just awesome that one of the ways to describe the entire race is "flamboyant", so I just had to pick it.
I have yet to finish my first entire run of the game, so I will not turn back and start over...

Khajiit. I just adore them. They're savvy, clever and determined to not only survive the dragon crisis and civil war, but to make some serious gold of it. They're the Honest John car salesmen of Tamriel. I also like the Arabian vibes to them. And there is the whole "I am a beastrace, and I'm the Dragonborn. Problem?", which makes it doubly fun to wander around Windhelm, rubbing it in.

"H'oy, Stormcorks! Where da Nord lassies at?!"

Of course, my inner furfag had something to do with this preference...

Khajiit's because I love their voices and the way they look. I never play as one because I find playing as beast races slightly weird (personally) but they always make me smile when I see them.

I think it's also because I like cats.

Orcs, they look really good in Skyrim and have racial that gives you stength to 2-hit dragons and survive avalanche.

As a viking myself, I have to go with Nord.

Second place goes to... hmm... I'll go with Khajits :3
or Dunmer, because spraying lightning from my hands makes me feel like the Emperor, and being a race with dark greyish skin, does help.

I quite liked my Orc until a bizarre moment where I was told by one of the stronghold guards

"This place is for orcs. Leave.".

I still don't know why. Perhaps because I'm a vampire? My favourite since then is Argonian.

Altmer, I particularly like the turn they have taken with them in Skyrim to the point that I tried to act as a thalmer agent rooting out all things related to talos.
I played a character like this, I was sad I couldn't actually join the Thalmor and destroy the puny factions of Skyrim myself.

OT: Altmer, filthy beast races are meant for nothing better than slavery, lesser elves too. Men are a blight upon Mundus and must be eliminated at all costs.

Nords because we all sound like Scandinavian cartoon characters and/or Arnold Schwarzenegger. Next favorite would be Orcs or Argonians.

I made a Nord archer/shield and axe guy. Were there better races for each skill? Of course, but it's role playing not a shooter where I need the best stuff all the time.

WAAAAAAAAGH!

Wait, something doesn't feel right...

But orcs all the way. Best looking, fun to rp and I'd like the racial even if it wasn't so over-powered.

My favorite has always been Bosmer. I had a Morrowind roguish archer/thief Bosmer and the same in Oblivion.

Thought I'd mix it up in Skyrim and went for a Redgaurd, but I'm still wearing light armor and wielding a bow, what is wrong with me.

Redguard's are kind of cool also, but I'd like to see more stories for them, all I've gotten is a quick little deal with the Alik'r.
