Simply put, what's something that ails you?

Something that is considered a weakness to you. Be it mental or physical or both, what's something that ails the Escapist?

As for me, doctors tell me I have a mild form of asperger's, though I don't believe this. I just have odd mannerisms, weird posture, have 3 major interests that I obsess over, and I lack much sympathy for the human race.

I also have a sleep disorder known as DSPS. Google it.

So what ails you?

Well, I think I've got at least a mild form of insomnia. I can sleep, it just never comes easily and I can easily go without sleep. Well hell, I guess I've got DSPS too...

I also (Though I'm not sure you can count it as an ailment) have an amazingly high metabolism, so I stay skinny. All the time. I can't donate blood because of it (Not that I would anyway. Damned needles...) Do you have any idea how hard it is to find pants!?

Nothing serious really. Just zero attention span and no motivation. I've spent like the last 5 years of my life in a psychological state of 'meh'.

EDIT:

Same here. Thats why I wear skinny jeans, cause they're the only ones with long enough legs for my thin waist.

Same sleep disorder and a very low muscle tone. Mentaly nothing phases me except I tend to laugh a lot which is usualy a good thing but I tend to sometimes laugh when I know I shouldn't. Funerals for instance. I regret it but i did once giggle at a funeral.

I forgot to mention those two in mine as well.

I break out in a rash whenever I take penicillin.

I'm socially awkward around people who aren't already my friends (which kind of makes me wonder how I made friends with them in the first place), and I think I may have a mild form of OCD.

As for physically, there is something, but I wouldn't call it an ailment seeing as it doesn't effect my day to day life in any way.

Seems we're quite alike. Yea, I found some great jeans a while ago that were black, mildly form fitting, and long enough for my legs. I still have to wear a belt with everything to feel comfortable though. I simply don't want to resort to skinny jeans or girl jeans though. I'm debating finding and wearing a skinny shirt to school one day though, just to see people's reactions.

Beginnings of CTS in my right wrist because of extensive guitar playing, weak tendons in both my thumbs as a result of childhood injuries, overweightness (slowly being remedied, yay!) and Bipolar Disorder, not bad enough that I need medication and constant psychiatry, but enough to mean I have to watch out for situations I know might bring on problems. (That should make sense if you also have Bipolar Disorder, otherwise don't worry about it.)

Apparently I nearly died when I was a baby when they gave me penecillin...

They haven't tested whether it was the cause or not, out of fear of, you know, dying :p (hence the "suspected" part)
