Everyone has something that they love to make, what's yours?

I, personally, like making eggs in a basket, its a bit simple but its really tasty and kinda fun to prepare.

Even though I hate it and have never eaten more than a mouthful in my life, I can make a pretty mean lasagne. Although it does take getting some cheese sauce stuck to the ceiling in the kitchen. (Don't ask.)

Bacon Pasta

A bag of Tagliatelle pasta, two packets of bacon, three eggs, some food cream and a load of spices. 'Tis excellent and I've made it so many times that I've perfected it even more.

Any pasta with Italian sausage cut up and mixed into the sauce. It's easy to make and is always, always delicious.

Anything to do with stir fry. So easy, but so many little variables to adjust and tweak! :)

Rosemary and lamb, marinated with garlic, salt, lemon and butter. Served with oven roasted potatoes, carrots using chicken fat to give the vegetables flavour and moisture. Plus any green veg, such as brussel sprouts, courgettes, brocolli or runner beans.

Fried rice with chicken, eggs, and vegetables. A dish I like eating whether it's for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

A pasta dish of my own design;

Chorizo saussage
Chilli
Red oniion
Roma tomato
My (home made) sauce base
Kalamata olives
Portobello mushroom
Minced red capsicum (fresh)
Dry red wine
Garlic
Fresh herbs.

Fry off sliced chorizo, use a little olive oil and the fats (so tasty) to clarify the onion, add garlic and chilli. Wilt the chilli. Add the mince capsicum, a couple o' mins later, the wine. Reduce slightly.

Now throw in the sauce and tomato, taste it. If it needs it add pepper, salt and/or raw sugar.
Give it a little simmer to let the flavours develop.

Add the mushroom and olives. Give it 5 mins, tops. Use the mushroom to let you know when to move on. Drop in some fresh herbs (I use sweet basil and oregano)

Serve that up on some spinach fettuchine and top with freshly shaved parmisan.

If that doesn't make you hungry, I don't know what will.

Enjoy.
