random person: "hey what are you doing, huh, huh, hey, HEY!!! listen to me, what are you doing, huh, hey listen, hey listen"

Me: *raises eyebrow* *freezes said person solid*

lets see those idiots at school talk to me now. also, i could freeze water then use it to walk out over the ocean or something, like, just making a narrow path i can walk along while water is still around me.

Water I suppose, that is probably what the most prominent 'element' in my body is, although it is technically a compound; a combination of two of the elements, two Hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom.

Mind you I do love milk, Calcium is probably a shockingly strong element in my body, who knows?

I don't like being outside, but I like rocks, and some of the more Earthly principles: Big, slow cycles, steadfasteness, and calm.

Terraforming is a word. It is the process of making planets similar to Earth, thereby making them inhabitable.

OT: If we are going by ye olde timy and unscientific use of the word elements, then I would go with fire.

Apparently so, I thought so as well at first but the firefox auto-spellcheck disagreed and more often than not, it's right so I was going to just use a different word. But landscaping would make my powers sound way too... powerless!
It definitely would not strike fear in the hearts of your enemies, or impress the ladies.

Love.

The Fifth Element showed us that Love can stop a giant fiery ball of pure evil and death.

Air, not even doubting. I have based this on Astrology. My sign is an Aquarius (an Air sign) and my Ascendant is a Libra (also Air) so there you have it.
There are more planets and signs who have an influence on our lives. But the Sun Sign is the most dominant.

Probably water. I love relaxing out on the ocean in my wife & I's fancy house boat because its soothing and calm and its far, far away from civilization. If I could actually control water, I'd probably cover at least one half of the earth in water and to be less of a dick, give people the ability to breathe underneath and create an underwater civilization that I protect as well as have the freedom to dick with. I'd also never have to worry about cotton mouth again because I could conjure up some soothing, cool water with a pure filter powered by Deus Ex Machina.

Air. Flight, suffocation, and the like. Also think on it, in Full metal Alchemist, Roy Mustang doesn't actually produce fire, he manipulates the air.

Probably water would short-circuit you, but other than that, you should be fine.

Wind/Air. Everyone's always under-estimating it. They give it lame "shield" moves in video games. If it has attack powers, they're always lightning based moves that irritatingly call it "thunder." That irks me more then anything, infact. It's like taking a gun and calling it a "boom."

My grandparents had this heavy metal thing in the backyard that was flipped over by a straight gust of wind. I've seen it rip branches off of trees and all kinds of stuff. Plus, if I controlled it, I could use it to fly.

The universe/setting/novels I'm working on has ten elements, including earth, fire, air, water, lightning, light, shadow, forest, beast, spirit. In my world, all elements can include primary, secondary, tertiary and quaternary effects, and can be modified for use by the ancient powers of chaos, destruction, creation, order, war, wisdom or magic, and can be modified further by the physical, mental, emotional or spiritual.

For example, earth can mean literal earth/stone/sand/rock, or can mean barriers or blockades, or prisons, or a few related things.

Based on that, I think I'd choose air, because I imagine it'd represent physical air, as well as speed and travel.
What does beast do?
It's something I've been working on for around ten years, on and off, piecing together everything from the beginning of time to the modern age, but for very bit of headway I make with one thing, I usually stop and work on something else before changing some old thing entirely.

My point? It's not entirely pieced together in some kind of manner that might make sense all up, but I figure that the beast element would include becoming some animal, gaining the abilities of one (say, hearing, smell, etc), summoning, dismissing, turning an angry creature into an ally or against an enemy.

OT: I choose the element of surprise.

You shall all cower before my minions!

Jar have you been gone or have I just not seen you?.
A bit of both; I haven't been on Escapist that much lately, due to exams. You'll be seeing me of me though!

*hugs*

I'd be earth. I'm pretty calm and stable, and I'm usually not one to budge easily.
