"Peace through superior firepower", can be interpeted in many ways, but here's the most common interpetation.

I don't know but I'm thinking of adopting

"Music was not better in the 80s, if you lived then you would be complaining about all the hair metal, disco, pop rap and smooth jazz and spending your time saying how great 60s music was".

Ok, its not very catchy, but I find myself saying (or thinking) it at least once a day on these forums.

This is just made of awesome. You have made my life good sir.

OT: Just add a dose of sepulchritude and you'll be alright. Props to those who know about sepulchritude.

My backup is "I will eat your spleen"

you may not a trend in mine

-Infantry win firefights. Tanks win battles. Artillery wins wars.
-I give men dreams and men are led by their dreams.
-Your foe is well equipped, well-trained, battle-hardened. He believes his gods are on his side. Let him believe what he will. We have the tanks on ours.
-I hate last stands, there's never time to practise them.
-Hurry up and wait

i have gone through a few

"I have a hat. It used to be a black bucket hat . Now it's faded and is reddish brown. It's a very special hat to me. One day I'll give it to a very special person and I hope they know how much that is a sign of affection from me"

This is what I put in my motto, but if it's really a motto is beyond me. Maybe I'll come up with a better one later.

Mine used to be "You're here for a good time, not a long time."

It is now "When in doubt, put underpants on your head, a pencil up each nostril and say "Wibble!" Spot the reference that is pretty obvious, win...nothing.
Since it seems like nobody else has taken it, I'm going to say it wasn't that obvious. Then I'm going to say Blackadder, though it does sound a lot like Rimmer in Red Dwarf

It is Blackadder but someone mentioned it either last page or the page before that. Sorry.

Verba Non Acta.
A good philosophy and a description of Sweetwater.
Isn't that "Words, not action" or something similar?

...Dos Equis?

OT: For years (right around 2 of them) mine was "When all else fails club a seal" but I recently changed it to a (loosely) translated line from the Tao Te Ching "If you want to be given everything, give everything up."
