Whats your excuse?

Most of my gaming friends mock me for playing MMOs such as Warhammer online and previously WoW. I always use to try and explain the satisfaction you get from downing a hard boss but tbf its just an excuse i dont really know why I love em so damn much

When your in this kind of sitution whats your excuse? And if you have heard someone give a really lame excuse feel free to post that too

I don't play MMO's, but I like to take the piss out of those at college who spend ALL their free time playing it/ talking about it :/

Online games? I have no money so it's my way of socialising outside of college with my friends. Super nerdy but I don't care

Im not sure I get the question, what's our excuse for liking video games? Or Mumorpugers? If its video games in general id have to say cause after listening to non stop medical terms in the university all week, I need a distraction and games make time fly by.

I don't play MMOs, but sometimes my friend who thinks he's the authority on all video games says to me "GOD WHY DO YOU LIKE L4D IT'S THE MOST BORING GAME EVER IT'S NOT EVEN GOOD."

My response is generally something along the lines of "because I fucking do, that's why." You don't really need a reason to like something.
